Conveniently located between Mumbai's International and Domestic terminals, we stayed here for one night on 3 occasions between flights.
The quality and service was high across the board. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom clean, the restaurants and bars were ambient, with a high standard of food, knowledgeable staff and live (not rock) music.
The only negative was the restaurant prices - roughly double the Cecil Oberoi in Shimla and the Taj Exotica in Goa. A lot to pay for eating with your fingers (mandatory) in the Tandoori restaurant!
None-the-less, if you need an overnight between flights in Mumbai, you could do a lot worse than the Maratha.

This was my second stay at this hotel and both visits have been excellent. Staff very gracious, food good and spa excellent. Have previously stayed at the Kempinski just around the corner but would not want to score one above the other. The best part is the short drive from the airport.

everything at the sheraton was lovely-- i stayed in the towers and thoroughly enjoyed my room, the tasty complementary breakfast, the free cocktail hour between 6-8, and the fact that the gym had new equipment (the same treadmills i use at my gym at home). also, as a single, female traveller, i completely appreciated their policy of only having female staff come to the door for room service, etc. all that said, rather pricey... but worth it for some peace amidst crazy mumbai.

I stayed at the ITC on business a few days in August 2007. The first night I arrived at 2 am. I was so tired that I just want to sleep. I find some hair in my bed. It was gross, but because it was so late. I did not change the room. (I put a towel on the sheet). I complained to the hotel the next morning. No one apologized. I asked to change a room with a better view and non smoking. They give me one facing the garbage ground. All the bath room seems poorly maintained. The glass shower door was never cleaned. You can see the spots on the door. The shampoo was half full when I checked in, obviously someone used it and it was not changed. During my stay, I did not use it and it was still there when I check out. The breakfast services are not very nice either. They want you to wait even there is a table. No one ever says they are sorry if they did not do something right. Do Not shop at hotel shop, they sell fake product. The jewelry and pashmina shawls are all fake. I can’t imagine the hotel allow their shops to do that to their customer.
