Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The reception staff were friendly and quick. The room, a double, was clean and comfortable. importantly for Milan the AC worked and there was minimal traffic noise.
Note that there is a limited number of seats for breakfast buffet and people arriving just after 8am were queuing for a few minutes.

The hotel is situated at very nice place, not away from the center ot the city. The people working there are absolutely rude and unhelpful, except the bellboy, who was the only one who seem to care for our stay at this hotel! The rooms are too small and dark (only one small window), plus the horrible view if your window look to the back side. I won't go there again.

We have just come back from a lovely stay at The Jolly Hotel in Milan.I felt it only fair to give this hotel a good review after reading some of the negative reviews. The hotel is well located, a 10 minute walk from Milan Centrale station and only 2 minutes from Republica metro station. It is also only a 15 minute walk to the main shopping district and 20 minutes to the Duomo.
Our room was great, a good size, beautifully clean with a nice bathroom with a HUGE shower. It was also well stocked with lots of lovely toiletries etc.
The breakfasts were lovely too. There was plenty to choose from, all fresh with coffee and tea brought to your table.
We found the staff at the Jolly Hotel friendly and helpful at all times.
Milan is a nice city and very easy to get around, either by walking or by using the metro which is cheap and reliable.
If you have a spare day a trip to Lake Como is highly recommended. It is easy to get to from Milan Cadorna station.
I can also recommend eating out in the evening in the Brera district, a 15 minute walk from the hotel. We found a couple of typically Milanese restaurants full of locals and the food was amazing!
I hope you have found this review helpful and you enjoy your stay at The Jolly Touring as much as we did.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a Perillo Tour. The front desk staff and bar staff are indifferent at best and rude at worst. They are totally unaware of good customer skills.
The rooms and bathrooms are adequate, not good or great. The location is at least a 30 minute walk from the good shopping district. The food in the hotel's restaurant was barely fair. At the first night's dinner we couldn't figure out what the meat was at the buffet.
This hotel needs to update their rooms and teach customer service skills to their staff. They can't do much about the location.

The hotel is only a stone's throw away from the nearest Metro and tram stop which is only one stop away from Centrale Station. One morning we walked to the main shopping centre which was a half hour away at a leisurely pace so overall location is very convenient although can look a little bare at first.
The hotel itself is a bit impersonal but very clean and the room we had was large and suite sized (I think we may have had an upgrade). The beds were comfy and there was ample space to unpack and hang up belongings. The bathroom was huge but although the shower was powerful it was very easy to flood the bathroom even when trying to be really careful - still no complaints from the room below!
Breakfast was good continental and cooked buffet style with a fair range and no problem finding tables.
My only gripe was with the recption staff who were painfully slow and very disinterested when we asked questions about bookings, train times etc.
