Stayed at the Hotel Jolly Bellini in Catania for two nights. It was such a great experience. The whole place was recently renovated, with marble floors, modern furniture and bathroom fixtures. The room was spotless and comfy with a fantastic bathroom that had speakers so you could listen to the news or music playing on the television. The conceirge staff were friendly and helpful. As we were on a tour we even got to experience the hotel restaurant and it was very clean and the food was tasty. The hotel was also right in the heart of the city, just a quick 5 minute walk to Via Etnea, the shop-lined boulevard of Catania. There were also numerous cafes and pastry shops nearby. While touring the rest of the island, I can safely say that the Hotel Bellini was a step above all the rest of the Jolly hotels we stayed in. It is an ideal place to stay if you want comfort, cleanliness, modernity and a central location.

Ho alloggiato per due notti all'Hotel Jolly Bellini a Catania. È stata un'esperienza gradevolissima. L'intera struttura è stata rinnovata di recente, con pavimenti in marmo, mobilia moderna, e nuove attrezzature per il bagno. La camera era immacolata e confortevole, con un bagno fantastico che aveva anche altoparlanti per ascoltare il notiziario o la musica dalla televisione. Il personale della portineria era cordiale e disponibile. Eravamo con un tour organizzato, ed abbiamo anche avuto l'opportunità di mangiare nel ristorante dell'albergo, che era molto pulito ed offriva una cucina saporita. L'albergo si trova nel pieno centro della città, a 5 minuti a piedi da Via Etnea, la strada dello shopping di Catania. Ci sono anche molti altri caffè e pasticcerie nelle vicinanze. Durante il nostro giro turistico attraverso l'isola, posso dire d'avere trovato l'Hotel Bellini superiore al resto degli alberghi Jolly in cui abbiamo alloggiato. È un alloggio ideale se volete comfort, pulizia, un ambiente moderno ed un'ubicazione centrale.

We just completed a three-day stay in Catania at the Jolly Hotel Bellini and would describe it as adequate. The room we had was very simple as was the bathroom. There are no extras here so bring your own toiletries. Breakfast was good, but the coffee was not the best. The staff was wonderful, though, and helped us by describing the bus system and recommending very good local restaurants.

After all of these years I know the warmth of the Scicilian people still. I have the photos of the old Hotel Jolly. The photos of the wonderful staff that made our 7 months living there a home. No one can ever fake that caring and kindness my family was shown. Sharon Lawler
