I had the pleasure of staying at 3749 Pontechiodo Bed & Breakfast and it was an excellent experience. The owner, Mattia, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, providing me with maps and tips for exploring Venice. The breakfast served in the charming garden was delicious and the freshly squeezed orange juice was a standout. The location was perfect, situated in a quieter part of the island, yet still within easy reach of restaurants, shops, and the water bus for convenient transportation. I highly recommend this charming guest house for your stay in Venice.

The location was great, the atmosphere was relaxed and was very easy to navigate the city from here and find my way back. I was a solo traveler and making my stay was ideal. The owner is not around after 1 pm but in the mornings he is more than helpful with suggestions, plans, and help with things such as information on trains. Highly recommend this place.

Mattia, the owner was great. I loved that he took time in the mornings to sit down with guests to help them plan their days. He had great insight into the city and great recommendations. He was very personable, but professional at the same time.
The room was on the small side, although we didn't mind at all. The courtyard was beautiful, so if we were there during the day we spent time there.

The staff was expert, the breakfast was sensational, everything was fabulous. The room was well-appointed and spotless and the view of the garden was stunningly beautiful. The location was perfect, for example, an ornate footbridge was around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. The garden was perfect for breakfast, liked where it was situated.

I would recommend this b and b as a friendly and relaxed place to stay. I stayed in the single room, which is very small, but has the advantage of overlooking the garden. And as there is so much to see in Venice I spent little time in my room! Breakfast was good, as many expressos/cappuchinos as you could manage expertly made, with the opportunity to chat to other guests and the owner Mattia. Mattia is kind and helpful, with excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The location too is great - 5 min walk to the vaporetto stop and about 10 mins to the railway station. This was my 4th visit to Venice and Canneregio has become my favourite sestiere. I would stay here again - already planning my next trip to Venice!

Very helpful owner (?) who loves his city and wants to share it with guests. Breakfast included some of the best bread/rolls I've ever eaten! View from room window included canals and always interesting.
Only storage in room was a cupboard with hangers and one shelf - really not enough room for clothing. Tiny fridge and TV.

the units are wonderful, comfy. please let the welcoming staff know of our gratefulness for a great stay.

The location of this hotel is great - very convenient for airport boats and also in a very nice area of Venice with lots of good restaurants around. The staff were friendly and provided us with local information, making our stay even better. The rooms had the quintessential Venetian canal view and were beautifully furnished. The breakfast was also great, with delicious bread, cheese, meats, and especially the individually decorated cappuccinos we had each morning.
The curtains in the room could benefit from being replaced.
