Got a good deal on Orbitz for air and hotel. The hotel is just a short walk from the Metro Dupont Circle stop. The hotel website instructions on how to get there from Reagan National is spot on.
We arrived about an hour before the 3pm check-in time but were able to check right in and get right into the room. Our room was 209, one of the remodeled ones. Even with the 2 double beds I didn't feel it was too cramped. The bathroom was very spacious.
Like the previous reviewer, our A/C was running but not doing much good. We tried to always keep the bathroom door shut and kept the drapes back from the unit vents to try and get the cool air into the room. It helped enough to make it bearable.
We did have a Do Not Disturb/Please Make up Room sign for our door. However, the deadbolt to the room didn't work. As long as the card key worked I didn't mind.
For the price we got the room at I felt it was worth every penny. If we're ever back to DC I'd stay here again.

This is an average hotel. The best part of it is certainly the location, right on DuPont Circle.
I stayed here for 5 nights in March. The rooms are clean, which is always a good thing, and the bed was comfortable. Rooms look a lot larger in the photos than they actually are. Also, beware - most of the photos are of the new rooms - and all of the "official" hotel photos are as well. Not sure if there is any plan to do them in the immediate future but there was no construction going on at the time of my stay.
People are nice, and willing to help. Typical of any metro hotel, Breakfast was expensive. A short walk across the street to Starbucks, or better yet, the Firedog Bakery, were much more satisfying on the wallet and the stomach.
I would stay there again as it is convenient to the metro (1 block) and is affordable & clean.

We left a less-than-expected hotel experience down by the Capitol, and moved up here for the week of our conference stay. We were so thrilled with the Inn from the moment we stepped into the front garden. The staff was lovely, the reception and sitting area was well done. I felt comfortable coming down and having a good cup of tea, reading, sitting outside and enjoying the little courtyard they had set up. Its an older building but definitely has its charms. The rooms were smaller than I expected, but well-appointed and things were set up nicely. We especially enjoyed the free high-speed internet access! All the other hotels wanted to charge us $10 a day, but the Jury provided it for free. Bring an ethernet cable with you--the wifi is spotty outside of the first floor.
Its a bit of a hike from the Metro, but its a nice neighborhood and a good walk. Lots of good restaurants and shops are nearby. Its in a residential street so its very quiet. I really enjoyed my walk each day--lots of people watching and interesting sites to see.
We really enjoyed the Jury. The staff were so helpful and friendly! I would definitely recommend staying there!

I recently spent three nights at the hotel and the property is in an excellent location and very convenient. I had a King room on the 8th floor that was a decent size. The carpet did have some stains and the furniture was a bit dated but it was fine for a three star property. I didn't notice that the rooms were noisy.
The staff was helpful and I enjoyed room service breakfast each morning and it was a good deal and was quick. I would recommend for a three or four day stay.

Good Location but not exactly 4-star

Myself, my husband and 2 friends made a quick, just-for-fun trip to Washington DC the weekend of June 27th and we stayed in Dupont Circle at The Jury's Washington (Jurys Doyle in Washington DC) Hotel. The location is great - it's right on Dupont Circle and a lot of things are within walking distance - the Dupont Circle Metro is steps away and Adams Morgan was within blocks.
The loading/unloading area in front of the hotel is sparse but we expected that, seeing as it's on a major street. The lobby of the hotel is gorgeous and the concierge was very helpful with advice on restaurants and directions to things.
We had a room with 2 Queen beds and it was clean and nicely decorated... but kind of small for a hotel that is considered a 4-star. The bathroom was pretty cramped - there wasn't a whole lot of room to move around when you got out of the tub/shower... and the sink was in a cubby next to the bathroom so when you actually used the toilet, you had to then flush and open the door to get to the sink and wash your hands... a little weird, I thought. That cubby area included the sink, a counter and a big mirror and had outlets in the walls so that was obviously where you were supposed to fix your hair/makeup after you showered... but underneath that counter was where the mini-bar was and most of the counter was taken up with the ice bin, glasses, coffeemaker, etc... we really didn't have a whole lot of room to put any bathroom accoutrements such as hairspray or shaving kits, etc. I mean, that whole area (bathroom and cubby) was just really cramped.
It was quiet though, and we weren't planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel anyway so we weren't incredibly concerned about the space except when it came time to shower or get ready to go out. However, we did have a major concern with the A/C. It was there, by the window... and it was on... you could feel some cold air coming out... but it didn't circulate throughout the room AT ALL. And we happened to be there on a weekend where temps outside were in the 90's. It was actually pretty horrible. You would get out of the shower and end up sweating as you were trying to get ready to go out. My friend was getting really frustrated because she kept sweating as she was getting dressed and had to keep re-doing her hair. And I was having a hard time putting makeup on because my eyeliner was smearing from the heat. Both of the men were annoyed because they felt like they might be getting sweat stains on their dress shirts... and it was only from the time we showered until we were done getting ready to go out. I don't know if the A/C was faulty or if it just didn't circulate well in that room, but it was bad. And when you walked out into the hallway it was cool and comfortable... even a little chilly! Very weird and very disappointing.
Really, though, that was the only truly bad thing we experienced during our stay. A couple of weird things, like none of the doors had a "do not disturb" sign to put on for when the maids came around... and the fact that the hallway vending machine area only had ice (and no vending machine..?).
Otherwise though, the staff was really friendly and the front desk was quick and helpful. We used valet parking and at $25 it was cheaper than having to pay for street parking.
All-in-all a fine place to stay (probably nicer when the temps are in the 70's or 80's outside) but I wouldn't say it's 4-star material.
