My husband and me stayed for only one night because I read the Fodor's description which was not overly positive. Having stayed there for one night I did regret that we had no time to stay a second one. The standard room (booked via the internet was A$ 142) had just been renovated and I found it pleasant, clean and slept well in the bed. the bathroom was sparkling clean and the little verandah had sun all afternoon. Not all standard rooms have (I believe) undergone renovations as yet. So it pays to ask for those particular ones. The restaurant with breakfast buffet had a very pleasant seating arrangement, helpful and friendly staff and good coffee. We almost felt as if it was part of the landscape and we enjoyed the quiet location.
