I have to agree previous reviewers. Try to avoid this hotel, if you want a nice holiday or business trip to Auckland. Stay in this hotel is like gambling, if you lucky enough, then you might have a reasonable deal. Otherwise, full of upset and regrets.
Seems I am the one without any luck this time. Who wants to be the next one? :-)
At first, this is not a Four Star Hotel. It is a Service Apartment. But that's OK. I am not too fussy about the hardware. The most terrible thing is the front desk service.
Can you imaging an India front desk service guy blaming a customer in front of another three service staffs and some other customers (because of an uncomely parking)? Yes, I had this. Very rude and unprofessional. Yes, it happened in a 4 start hotel.
Shame... I have complained to their manager.

We booked for 3 adults and a child assuming we would be given a room with adequate resources and much to our despair we walked into a 2 bedroom shoebox with a couch for two, two waterglasses, no microwave, the smallest bathroom ever constructed and no room for our portacot. For the price we paid we certainly expected a lot more.
There were two lightbulbs that had blown and had not been replaced, a terrible lift in the carpet that had not been fixed, paint coming off the walls and a ridiculously small tv. When we arrived we had to wait for our room for around half an hour and then when it came time to leave we were overcharged. If space is important I would not recommend staying here at all!!

Regularly stay here when I need to be in Auckland. Usually get the rooms at a great rate(NZ$99) through the Wotif website. The hotel is reasonably new and has a "hip" ambience.Although the rooms are on the small side they are modern with attractive decor and furnishings. The hotel is centrally located, is easy to get to by car off the Auckland motorway system, and is a relatively short stroll down to Queen Street. The staff are normally pleasant and helpful. The only negative is the hotel restaurant which is geared to meeting people's breakfast needs. There is no problem with the food as it is of good quality, but at times I have had to wait what seems to be an eternity for the food to arrive - the coffee is of a variable standard.
Overall, a well-priced, upbeat, well-appointed Auckland CBD accommodation option - one that I will continue to use.

Seems like a variety of reviews on here but i loved my stay here, so much so I just booked it for another trip to aucks.
The hotel is modern, chic and has the exta attention to detail. The reception and foyers have glossed lighting and funky music.
Reception staff where friendly enough (dont expect mcuh in Auckland they say).
The rooms were comfy and presented well.
The bar is cool and the outdoor sitting area is nice.
Very hip place to stay in Auckland and i good respite from boring hotels.
