This was a good value hotel close to central city, We initally got a room that was plesant but without a view, a quick call to the front desk resulted in a much better room with views of the Harbour Bridge. This is a good hotel as a base and close to the Casino as well.

Loved it, huge room, spotlessly clean, speedy and friendly check-in and checkout, great location, taxi rank outside, couldn't fault except for little view from room. Would recommend.

convenient hotel for CBD

This is a good business hotel or a convenient base for exploring CBD area. There is nothing exciting about the decoration or facility, but it is a good comfortable and clean hotel that provides a lot services either business traveler or leisure traveler desires ( such as coin laundry facility in hotel wing, or full kitchen and laundry in tower wing rooms). The hotel staffs are nice and helpful. There are numerous eateries, convenience stores and coffee houses nearby. It has a very good location, easily accessible by both airbus and linkbus.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. Just don’t expect it to be a “unique” hotel experience.

We only live 15 minutes away (we can almost see the hotel from home!) and are non drinkers, but the company had booked one room too many for a staff Christmas meal in the city, so we stayed the one night. Having visited the hotel in a previous life, as a department store, it came as quite a surprise to find it very tastefully set up and furnished.
We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around at leisure but finding the rooftop heated pool was a bit of a mission, but worth it. Apart from slipping and falling headlong into the spa pool, fortunately without injury, we had an excellent stay!
Breakfast was a substantial buffet, though not cheap.
As this hotel is but two minutes away from the Sky Tower and five minutes walk to Queeen Street , the location with a view across the harbour makes it well worth serious consideration.
Valet parking was an extra charge but as this is in a secure undercover park, probably well worth it.

We felt that this is an excellent choice in the CBD. We stayed here for the night Sat 5/4 as we had a function on and couldn't be bothered driving home.
Admitingly there was a fault with the check in (probably Wotifs problem) - though it was 10pm when we turned up and the service that we received from the night manager was excellent! Valet parking was appreciated.
The room was fantastic and very very quiet. Very nice finishes (better than some 5 star). The bed was super comfy.
Check out was a bit slow but we did get out of bed late and were one hour late getting out of the room.
This is a great hotel by international standards and I would have no problem recommending to overseas guests
