a really quite good hotel ! nice room even if it needs to be renewed (room 1509) a beautiful landscape seen from the large window,excellent breakfast,(dress code for man!!)big lobby,the raja chulan station (tube) is 5 minutes from the hotel.small swiming pool but very apreciated after a long day tour.

Stayed at this hotel last week, it was a pleasant experience.
In my hunt I went through several reviews and several hotels but not all my questions were answered..hence I am going to list all relevant info to help you understand this property better.
Location - very central, walking distance from KLCC shopping center and 10 mins walk to Bukit Bintang (KL's great night spot and shopping area). TGI restaurant 1 Min away, lots of clubs and pubs within 5 mins of walking distance..great location..
As location is central its also a very very busy traffic area, recommend taking the monorel (a few hundred meters away - Raja Chulan station) especially in the mornings and evenings which connects to some stations on the LRT and also goes to Kl Central.
Hotel - Nice hotel, good restaurants, check in is efficient.
Room - I stayed in a Single room with a Queen bed. The room was spacious and very clean though the carpet slightly stained. TV has very good reception(not LCD) and channels include BBC, Star Sports, Astro Sports, Channel 7, and 2 English movie channels (media vision I think - watch out though what you watch in the morning is repeated in the evenings). Mini bar with a decent variety. Bathroom is nice too, has a tub. never had problems with hot water. You can choose the road view overlooking the monorel cause its bright.
Room has a big window, nice curtains. Lighting is on the darker side though, room is not very well lit.
Internet - Wifi and broadband access, good speeds however costs 49.95 for 24 hours and 16.95 for one hour so on the expensive side as more and more hotels offer free internet now.
I took a taxi from the airport cost me 70 ringgit (prepaid)and return taxi 80 ringgit (return taxi organised by bell desk) takes minimum an hour - again depends on time you arrive/depart.
Overall a good experience and I will stay here again on my next visit.

Our first stay in this hotel 3 years ago was included in a tour package and we had the opportunity to appreciate the good level as well as the excellent location of this hotel. This time we came back to Kuala Lumpur on our own with friends and had no doubt about our staying in this hotel again. The room and the bathroom are ok and clean (although we noticed some stains on the carpet both in the room and in the corridor). Buffet breakfast has a good variety and we also enjoyed one complimentary dinner there (we received daily one "RM 100 bonus" for F&B). Regretfully we had no time to use any other service of this hotel (swimming pool and complimentary foot massage!) and therefore cannot judge them.
Because of the convenient rate and the good value for money I would not look further for another hotel if I'll be back in KL.

The room is simply great - Housekeeping was excellent and they have the best staff - Staff is very good in advising you where to visit in Kuala lumpur. The Housekeeper is good and very friendly and really took care of us. My husband was not feeling well throughtout our trip and she made the effort to check on us and did everything she can to make our stay most pleasant!

Was in This hotel late March after such a plesant trip in Phuket
this hotel was a disaster needs URGENT RENOVAT?ON rooms very old, carpet filthy, Bed very small considered as single all over the world but they sell for double Location good but all hotels in KL are in same location
dont make the mistake we did i would NEVER EVER recommend this hotel to anybody dont be fooled with pictures on net its not the same
