This hotel is located within walking distance of the town and its attractions. We stayed here for two nights in a family room. The room itself was reasonably spacious considering there was a double bed, a sofa bed (for our six year old) and a travel cot (for our three year old). The bathroom was basic and the quality of the towels was good. The breakfast offered a wide choice of bread rolls and various types of bread. A good choice of cheese and cooked meats. There were also cereals and fresh fruit on offer. The lady responsible didn't stop, constantly filling up the buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a free carpark at the back of the hotel.
We had dinner in the fantastic hotel restaurant situated in the oldest building in the town. The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff again very friendly. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would certainly book this hotel again.

I reserved a single room in this hotel and even admitting that what I got can not be described as a large room, it was nice and comfy. It had two beds, one of them disguised as a sofa, which was in front of the TV so you feel quite at home there (pity the TV screen was so small). There was plenty of sunlight from a large window that opened to the back of the building, so there was no transit noise I could hear with the window closed. Bathroom was spartan, with a Scandinavian-style shower (i.e: no shower tray as such, but not a problem at all) but absolutely spotless and fairly-sized. Breakfast was more or less what you could expect in a hotel of this price range. I definitely recommend this place for families (there were a few of them around) and for those who appreciate value-for-money over “atmosphere”. If you come here by train (as I did) railway station is just a 5-minute walk away.

Decent, clean hotel without any excitement to it. Pleasant staff, good breakfast, drinks available in the reception until late. But not the place to go for a romantic getaway. Stayed in single room on business trip, it worked perfectly fine for that purpose. Two minutes walk from city centre.
