I stayed here with my boyfriend during a short break to edinburgh. I found this hotel wonderful. The receptionist was really friendly nad helpful, as were the other staff. The room was amazing, especially the bathroom which has his'n'hers sinks, a free standing bath with views over the city. It also had a large walk in shower. Everything was spotlessly clean.
We ate in the restaurant and found the food to be excellent. The breakfast was really good too.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is about a 10-15min walk from the centre but there are buses if you need.
The area around the hotel has some nice shops and cafes. We missed breakfast one day but found a deli just down the road that does excellent croissants. Morningside is just up the road, which has lots of small, individual shops and boutiques.

This is a great hotel, stayed for one night 2 weeks ago, lovely room and bathroom, nice staff, free parking, frequent buses into the city. Only fault was that breakfast was a little greasy.

first impressions of the hotel were promising with the receptionist being pleasant and helpful, we were not disappointed.
The room was very spacious warm and comfortable with a huge bathroom.
Breakfast was varied and tasty, with a buffet for cold and the hot food served to the table.
No real negatives but my wife would have preferred more vegetarin choices on the dinner menu.

Had a fabulous large room at the front of the hotel with large bay windows looking out over the park.
Free internet in the rooms which is always a winner for me.
Breakfast ok and staff very friendly.
Good location right opposite the park. I walked around this in evening and saw every kind of sport and pastime. Very interesting. Easy walking distance to the town centre. Couple of nice pubs and bars nearby.
