We stayed in st tomas apartment on nov 20th till 24th 07, was so clean and bright and warm staff were helpfull they probably could have brought us to the apartment as we found it hard to find though it was only 5 mins away, we also booked a taxi from there but it never turned up which meant we didnt meet our friends but id stay there again as in feb 07 we went and got really bad apartment with some other apartment owner, so id reccommend OLD TOWN APPAARTMENTS, advice book your own taxi as they charge 90 pln i got 1 for 60 outside airport,
Thanks for great Apartment

We ( two adults, two children) stayed in the St. Thomas 3, (1 bedroom apartment ) for a week in August. The apartment is located within the old town area which is very safe and is also close to the train station and a shopping mall. The apartment itself is very nice. Very Ikea, but has all the basics included a washing machine. Some things to know, this is an apartment, not a hotel, so it is not cleaned during your stay. They also only provide 4 poor quality towels. There is a machine to wash them, which is nice (if you can figure out how to use it, there are no directions provided) , but no dryer. Also, the apartment management advises you to call them if you have any problems, but there is no phone in the apartment. I don't know if this is a problem if you live in Europe and can use your cellphone, but coming from America it is an issue. Also, the lights outside the apartment building and outside the apartment where both out for our entire stay. Although it is a very safe area, it was hard to see/find the keyhole to open the doors. One other thing to know, the apartment is around the corner from a bar. If the windows are closed this is not a problem, but if you want to keep the windows open on a hot night, (there is no air conditioning and only one small fan), the bar is very noisy and seems to stay open until 4 am!. Also, although the TV gets about 1000 channels, BBC World was the only English language program that would come in. All and all this was a nice place to stay. There was plenty of room for the four of us and you can't beat the location. Krakow is a beautiful city and I would stay here again.

I stayed in a beautiful apartment right in the centre of the town, and the staff at old town apartments saved my stay from turning into disaster. My flight was delayed and there was no problem getting my keys late at night; they halped me with my missing suitcase (I do not speak Polish) and did anything I asked of them (within reason :-) )
For the price the quality was great. Cannot recommend them highly enough and they will definitely be my first choice for accommodation next time I travel in europe.

We stayed for 5 nights in the 'Studio Style' apartment. The location is excellent being only seconds to the old town square. Unfortunately, it was very noisy due to clubbers making a noise whilst going past from about 11 to 4 in the morning. The entrance is a bit off putting as it is also the entrance to 2 bars, although the noise from them could not be heard from the apartment. The apartment was nicely furnished and had a high beamed ceiling. I was surprised that no change of towels was provided during the 5 nights we stayed there but other than that the apartment was fine. If you are going to stay out late this is the place for you but if you are a light sleeper try other apartments. If you email them they will advise you where to stay.

The staff for Old Town Apartments was very friendly, but there were a few problems with our apartment. No complaints about the state of the apartment (Studio Bright) except for the washing machine, which was not left open after previous uses and therefore had a terrible smell of mildew. The usage instructions I requested were never delivered, so my cousin and I had to figure it out ourselves and never did manage to use the most efficient setting. I had asked for internet services for my laptop but they did not work, and the tech support man they sent to the apartment had absolutely no idea what he was doing and said himself he was not familiar with that type of internet connection. The company did refund my money promptly, though. Additionally, though I could deal with the fourth floor walkup, the door to the stairs was nearly impossible to open, which was dangerous - if I had had someone following or threatening me I would not have been able to get in quickly and close the door behind me.
I was very pleased with the location of the apartment, seconds away from the square and close to good restaurants. Of course, everything in Krakow is pretty much right around the square. I think next time I would stay at a hotel, though, as the price was comparable to a hotel and of course neither maid service nor linen and towel changes were provided.
