I have just returned from 4 nights in the Iseo Lago. The setting is beautiful and the grounds of the hotel are nice. The short walk to Iseo is about 10 minutes and as a town I was very impressed.
The rooms were a little on the small side and as with many hotels in Italy you don't get double beds but twins pushed together which is not ideal if with a partner as it reduces the comfort. The food in the restaurant was only average and after reading good reviews we were all disappointed with it. The serving staff didnt seem too happy to be there or serving us.
I can't understand why they have 2 swimming pools of the same depth. both shallow. It would be nice to have one with a deep end especially since there is a lifeguard on duty all day. They need to stop bathers taking loungers early in the morning and leaving towels on them for the day so nobody else can use them.
The bar closes at midnight so if you are looking to have a drink later then this you will have to head to the town as the mini bar in the room contained 1 beer.
There is no iron available to guests. They provide a 'professional' ironing service which was woeful and charge you ?6 per item for the pleasure. This service is only available from 8 til 3 and if you are in a rush I wouldnt bother. The shirts werent even ironed properly when they were returned nearly 2 hours later.
The night porter was the most friendly member of staff and was very helpful. Id recommend renting a car if visiting here as taxi's are not too easy to come by at irregular hours.
This place has the potential to be very nice if they can sort out the little issues that make your holiday that little bit more relaxing.

The location of this hotel is superb: A three minute walk to the lakeshore through a lovely park.
The rooms are small but beautiful.
The Aircondition is superb and you can set the temperature as you wish.
The hotel has a two large swimming pools located in a huge garden.
The reception staff are the friendliest people I have ever seen.
I called from the room to ask about the wireless internet and one minute later a staff member came to my room with a writen password for the internet and told me it was free!
The girls at reception answered every question with lots of knowledge and a smile.
We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short 3 night stay here.
Rooms not huge, but with wooden floors, ample balcony and very well appointed furnishings.
One of the real advantages of this hotel is that it is walking distance to Iseo, with free car parking and free use of the Sassabanek Lido which normally costs EUR 12 per person per day.
Friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English added to an excellent experience.

Bel posto e personale molto disponibile
