Basic hotel with international standards, conveniently located in the centre of the city; simple but sufficient breakfast; clean room; no facilities, no frills. No access to internet in the room...which has to be locked at all times (the door is not locked when it is simply shut!!).

Dieses Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage an der Hauptstraße dort, dem Boulevard Revolution. Ein 12-stöckiges Gebäude, das alles dort überragt. Wir wurden von einem sehr effizienten Angestellten an der Rezeption empfangen, der uns ganz schnell eincheckte. Unser Zimmer im ersten Stock war normal eingerichtet und ausgestattet, das Bad war klein, aber auch schön ausgestattet. Das sehr große Bett dominierte das Zimmer. Wir hatten auch eine schönen und recht großen Balkon, aber der Schnee hielt uns davon ab, uns dort großartig aufzuhalten. Die Lieblingsfarbe des Innenarchitekten schien blau gewesen zu sein, denn das war die bestimmende Farbe im Hotel, selbst das Holz hatte einen blauen Schimmer. Das Frühstück wurde in einer offenen Lobby serviert und es gab eine ordentliche Auswahl an Wurst, Käse und warmen Speisen wir Würstchen oder Omelettes. Nicht so toll war nur, dass die Rumänen zu jeder sich bietenden Gelegenheit anfangen zu rauchen. Wir saßen zwar im Nichtraucherbereich, aber selbst dort driftete der Rauch rüber. Ein gutes Hotel, das angeblich vor einem dreiviertel Jahr komplett renoviert wurde und im Moment das beste Hotel der Stadt ist.

The hotel is perfectly located right in the main thoroughfare, Boulevard Revolution.A 12 storery building it towers above everything else beside it. We were met by an efficient receptionist who quickly dispatched us to our room on the first floor. Standard layout with asmall but well equipped bathroom. A very large bed which dominated the room and through to a niecely sized balcony but the snow on the ground put us off making use of it. The designer clearly had the colour blue in his or her mind with it domonating the hotel and with even wood effect having a blueish tint. Breakfast was seved in the open plan lobby/dining area with a reasonable selection of cold meats/chesses and hot food consisting of small sausages and omelettes. The only annoying element was the romanians desire to smoke at every opportunity and whilst we sat in a no smoking area you could not avoid the smoke drifting over. A good hotel which we understand was completely refurbished around 3/4 years ago and is the best hotel in the city at the moment
