This hotel is very elegant and has a great location near Las Ramblas. The beds are very stiff. The beds are very cheap. There are lots of roaches and baby roaches in the rooms. The staff is friendly.

Definitely enjoyed our stay at this H10 hotel. It was very close to many of the major attractions, including Las Ramblas. The hotel is down a smaller alley, so it's pretty busy during the day but is quiet at night so you can sleep. There are very many shops and restaurants in this area, so you don't have to go far for a meal or to do some shopping. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful, and offered me medicine from their personal medicine cabinet when I was feeling under the weather. Hotel room was very clean. Bathroom was nice and clean. Bed was fairly comfortable. Television had channels in a few different languages. Business center downstairs was free, so that was very nice. Don't think I had any major complaints about my stay.

Great location. Near enough to see the best of most tourist attractions within walking distance, with the ability to escape from all of the hustle and bustle when you need to sleep. Quite a small hotel. You definitely pay for the location rather than any facilities in the hotel. The staff are like any others in hotels, friendly but you'd expect that surely? Our room was "cleaned" every day. They gave it a bit of a tidy anyway. Fresh towels each day and a constant supply of toiletries. Ladies, I would recommend that you take your own hair dryer, regardless of the fact they say they have one. There is a terrible and pointless contraption in the bathroom which looks more like something you'd unblock a drain with and does nothing but blow out about as much hot air as a granny's fart... That aside, I'd recommend staying there purely because of where it is, but they certainly judge their prices based on that rather than anything else. Would not suggest it for families with small children. Best suited to couples or business.

Hotel H10 Raco del Pi is terrifically located in the heart of the Barri Gotic on a street that is fairly busy during the day but absolutely dead quiet at night. It can be just a tad bit difficult to find the hotel again for the first time once you've made your initial journey out of it, but that's part of the beauty of staying there. The staff are very nice, the rooms are modern and clean, my only complaint with them was that the bed was not very comfortable to me. Were it not for the bed, I'd give the hotel five stars. One other thing, you have to pay an extra 2 euros per day if you want a key to use the safe in the room. Overall, this was a nice hotel in terms of location and qulaity of the room, other than it being just a little small (but perfectly adequate with a clean and updated bathroom too). The price was a bit high, not that the rooms aren't nice, but they definitely milk their location a little. I'd stay there again as a sure bet but I'd be interested for curiosity's sake to try someplace else next time in Barcelona.
