have stayed in the qubus on a number of occassions due to work, ideal locaton 5 mins walk from the main square gliwice itself isn't much, apart from the square not much else to do,plenty of local restaurants nearby all cheap, i stayed in the junior suite which was spacious with a double bed,end of room had a table and sofa, also had a mini bar which the single rooms don't have,handy for putting drinks etc in.TV has just got sky and bbc world so again not much to see,room was cleaned every day to a good standard,very large bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi bath. i've stayed in the single rooms as well,which is considerably smaller, no minibar only has a shower, very claustrophobic compared to the suite. the a/c in both rooms wasn't brilliant, in the summer i opened a window for fresh air,breakfast was plentiful and not rushed, hotel food was overpriced for the area, you can find excellent food just off the square, for example, 3 course steak meal with 3 beers is about £10, which in london would cost about £80, excellent food as well

I had the pleasure of taking a delegation of UK business people and Civic Dignatories to this hotel for three days in September. Of course this is not a five star hotel with pool etc., but what it does have more than makes up for this. We had a formal dinner which was served graciously and efficiently and the food and presentation was excellent in every respect. We had a very full agenda for all of our stay including some very early mornings and very late nights, never-the-less, the hotel staff were always welcoming and even stayed over when we required refreshments after normal, (reasonable), hours. Breakfast was excellent, plentiful, (in both variety and quantity), and served in a pleasant light dining room. High speed internet is available in bedrooms which are clean, pleasant, modern, quiet, and well serviced both daily and on demand. I stay in many hotels and can strongly recommend this hotel to both the business and pleasure traveller.

Eine angenehme Überraschung, denn das Qubus ist ein modernes (neueres) Hotel mit all den Annehmlichkeiten, die man erwarten kann. Die Zimmer sind perfekt angelegt und sehr zweckmäßig. Ein gutes Bett, kostenloses Internet und eine gute Dusche. Die Zimmer sind ruhig. Das Hotelrestaurant ist überdurchschnittlich - all die Gerichte zum Abendessen waren immer ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück bietet alles, was man nur will. Die Angestellten sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es scheint, als würden sie wirklich versuchen, den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Bis zum Plaza auf einen Kaffee oder zur Hauptstrasse der Stadt ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang - einen Häuserblock entfernt. Parken vor Ort ist möglich, obwohl ich immer ein Taxi in dieser Stadt oder zum Flughafen nehme. Sehr billig, kein Risiko.

A pleasant surprise the Qubus is an up to date (newer) hotel with all the amenities you might expect. Rooms are perfect layout and very functional. Good bed, free internet and good shower. Rooms are quiet. Hotel Resturant is above average - all the food for dinner was always excellent. Breakfast has everything you could want. Staff very helpful and friendly. Seems they are really trying to make you stay enjoyable. A short walk to the plaza for a coffee or the main street in town - 1 block away. Parking onsite available, although I aways use a taxis in this town and to the airport. Very cheap, no risk.
