La nostra camera famigliare era pulitissima. Ci siamo fermati 4 notti e ogni giorno trovavamo le camere rifatte. Il personale della reception e del bar era molto gentile e disponibile e tutti parlavano inglese. La sala colazione era silenziosa e rilassante e il servizio, la qualità e la varietà di cibo erano eccellenti. Potrete raggiungere il centro di Innsbruck con una gradevole passeggiata di una mezzoretta e l'aeroporto in 5 minuti (il rumore degli aerei non ci ha disturbato, ma era un periodo di bassa stagione). L'hotel offriva un'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo e ritorneremo l'anno prossimo.

La habitación familiar en la que nos alojamos estaba impecablemente limpia y el servicio de limpieza vino cada uno de los días que estuvimos (4 días). El personal de recepción y del bar eran muy serviciales y amables, y todos hablaban inglés. La sala de desayuno era tranquila y relajante, tanto el servicio como la variedad y la calidad de la comida eran excelentes. El centro de Innsbruck está a un agradable paseo de 30 minutos y el aeropuerto está a 5 minutos (no nos molestó el ruido de los aviones, pero no era temporada alta). Nos pareció que el hotel tenía una relación calidad-precio excelente y volveremos el año que viene.

Das Familienzimmer, in dem wir untergebracht waren, war makellos rein und der Zimmerservice reinigte es während unseres Aufenthalts (4 Nächte) jeden Tag. Das Personal an der Rezeption und der Bar war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und alle Angestellten sprachen Englisch. Der Frühstücksraum war ruhig und entspannend und sowohl die Bedienung als auch die Qualität und Auswahl des Essens waren hervorragend. Das Zentrum von Innsbruck liegt nur angenehme 30 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und der Flughafen 5 Minuten (die Flugzeuge störten uns nicht, aber wir waren dort außerhalb der Hochsaison). Wir finden, dass das Hotel ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bietet und werden nächstes Jahr wieder dort absteigen.

The family room we stayed in was spotlessly clean and room service visited every day of our stay (4 nights). Reception and bar staff were very helpful and friendly, and all spoke English. The breakfast room was quiet and relaxing, both the service and the quality and choice of food were excellent. Innsbruck centre is a pleasant 30mins walk away and the airport 5mins (we were not disturbed by airplane noise, but we stayed out of season). We thought the hotel was excellent value for money and will be going back next year.

We stayed at the Sporthotel Penz specifically because it is very close to Innsbruck Airport, and we had an early departure the following day with our young children. The hotel itself is fine, and typical of an Austrian 3 star hotel. It's clean, the rooms are in good order, and the food is acceptable. The hotel had taken our booking on the basis of giving us two rooms with a connecting door, so that we could listen out for our kids. They also advertised an airport transfer service. When we checked in, they had given our allocated connecting rooms to someone else, and we ended up with two rooms separated by a stairwell, which meant additional stress having to get up frequently through the night and make sure the kids were OK. In the morning, it transpired that there is no airport transfer service, so we hastily had to book a taxi to get us and our luggage to the airport - we were lucky that a local taxi was prepared to get out of bed at the crack of dawn to make the short (€7 fare) trip to the airport. Had we known that the hotel wasn't going to fulfill on connecting rooms and the airport transfer, we would have picked somewhere nicer and closer to the centre. As it was, they fell down on the two specific things we'd chosen them for, and were unapologetic about it.
