Location excellent right in the middle of Wenceslas Square. For safety we organised a car to pick us up at the airport. They took us both to the hotel for around ?12 fantastic service would def use again they also picked us up on the way back . The journey took around 20 mins but how easy. The hotel rooms are by no means fancy in fact quite basic but very clean and a good size. We were at the front of the hotel noise does not bother us but we made sure our 5 day trip was Mon to Fri to avoid hen and stag dos. Breakfast was nice. You walk out the front door lots of shops, nearly everything walking distance so much to do see and do so little time. Really enjoyed our stay in Prague. Staff very friendly and polite. No tea and coffee in room but found a Tescos round the corner and bought a kettle etc for buttons!
BE VERY CAREFULL OF PEOPLE ASKING YOU IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE MONEY ON THE STREET. THEY WERE ALL OVER.

Booking direct with the hotel was easy. Rooms overlooking the gardens. No noise from the bustling Wenceslas Square. Walking distance to all the key sites. Rooms tidy and well maintained. Staff very friendly always willing to assist. Helpful with booking the riverboat trip and other restaurants. Overall a very pleasing stay at the hotel. Certainly recommended if going to Prague to take in the sites and the culture.

As most have stated, the hotel is in a great location to see all the sights in Prague. I believe the hotel is Czech owned. We had a small conference at this hotel (as we were a mixed international group of folks and did not want to stay in an American hotel chain). Hotel staff accomodated any and all of our needs, but for conferences, I wouldn't recommend (unless you are a VERY small group, we had 40ppl and it was tight). Also, they only have a small amount of ammenities for groups (no whiteboards or polycoms, only 2 sml mtg rooms). But if you are a couple or single wanting a safe, close location to all attractions, this is a great place.
Pros: Location, Friendly staff, small quaint hotel, comfy bed, reasonable prices for location.
Cons: Breakfast has little to be desired (runny scrambled eggs, sausages, weak juice & coffee, standard euro meats and salad, cereals and some bfast pastries) and yes, they seem to serve the same food every day (sigh...but is included in the rate, so you can always go out for bfast- seems like most hotels charge 15 euros or more for bfast). Negotiate internet access ahead of time if you can, it can be expensive. Bar in hotel is a bit pricey and very small.
The Triton restaurant in this hotel is very interesting as well. I don't seem to be too fond of Czech food so I can't really give it an accurate review. Staff was pleasant.
Around the corner you can find GREAT coffee at Coffee Heaven and a great cheap pizza at Jizera Pizzaria or Colesium Pizzaria.

Room was ok, but we did face the front, so overlooked Wenceslas Sq. Yes, the noise was unbearable from all the late night drunks thinking they can sing. We had to leave the window open because the air conditioning in our room only blew hot air.. even when set to 5 C. I reported it to reception the next morning, but nothing was done about it for the 3 nights we stayed there. Room was comfortable, but pillows were horrible, and wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Mini bar - overpriced! 1/2 litre mineral water ?3.50! TV didn't have much English language choice (CNN and Eurosport I think). Watch out for stumbling across pay porn channels, if channel hopping. You get a 'sample' for free. Kids can view this if you don't block it!
Breakfast was adequate, with eggs (scrambled & boiled) sausage and bacon. Cold meats, cereal and fruit. Orange Juice was extremely watered down. Try the apple ot multivitamin juice(darker orange colour) which taste less dilute. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Location is exceptional with lots of history, restaurants and concerts everywhere. Exceptionally cheap, high quality beer and food. An exceptional restaurant is 'Trilobit' which is located underground, almost behind the hotel. Right out of reception, 1st right then 1st right. Try the 3 meat casserole for two. Czech food at it's best. So reasonable!

This is very good example of the worst of the new breed of flashy hotels in the "new" Europe.
It is a four star hotel, but is really not much more than a glossy bed-factory, with very little atmosphere and poor customer service. It is also very expensive compared to other options in Prague.
Some minus points: very small room, overheated with no ventilation at all; awful buffet breakfast, poor choice and poor quality; heart-stoppingly expensive mini-bar (£4 for a half-litre bottle of mineral water!); poor standard of house-keeping (beds unmade); un-helpful staff, especially at the Reception, unfriendly and inefficient; very expensive internet access (which in a hotel of this kind, should be free!); great if you like being accosted by a masseuse in the lobby late at night!
Some plus points (not many): central location (although I would not choose to stay in Wenceslas Square again, as it is too noisy and constantly busy); rooms were very quiet.
There are many similar category hotels in Prague now, and many smaller establishments which offer a better level of comfort and value and are equally well-located.
