We stayed in this hotel last week and we were very satisfied. We were with colleagues and we all had - I think - rennovated rooms: great shower, with thermotap, good bed, big TV, balcony. Room was very clean. As it is in a good area of Budapest, and near to the Underground, a good location. I did not find the breakfast boring. There was a varity of things to choose.

The hotel is rather oldish, however, centrally located (we never used the tube), the breakfast is boring, but at least you won't leave hungry. Would recommend for those trying to do a lot of sightseing and to save on the hotel.

I need to pay some extra money for air condition, but upon arrival to the hotel, the A/C did not work and it was very hot, but stuff from the reception tried to convince us that it is supposed to be like that and that it is very dangerours to have the A/C (???!!!) The stuff was very unpleasent, non English speaking, did not want to call taxi for us, when we complained they spoke some [--] word (the receptionist told me;Do not bother me with [--] problems!!!!!) unbelivable unpleasent place!!!!!!!! avoid!!!!!

We booked two rooms via internet and were asked to pay extra for the A/C that did not work in both rooms half of the time. I am walking with the crutches due to very difficult knee operation but the staff never offered to help with the luggage or anything else. They even refused to organize a taxi for us at the evening telling us they are not able to do that. (???) On departure when I tried to find out what was wrong with the A/C that we paid 15€ extra per room per night, the receptionist shouted at us infront of other guests telling us it is not true that there is an extra charge for the A/C. He said we "bother him with [--] problems" and when we asked to speak to the manager, he told us he is the boss. We have never been treated with such disrespect and I strongly recommend everyone to avoid this hotel.
