I've just arrived back from Milan and had a really good stay at the Nasco - the reception staff were friendly and always helpful, as was the bar staff, waitresses and cleaners (who took time to find out our names, where we had travelled from, and also to teach us some Italian!) The cheapest way we got to the Nasco from Milpensa was the shuttle bus which was already at the airport - for two the cost was 15 euros. The shuttle bus takes you directly to Central station where we easily got a taxi to the hotel for 10 euros. With that said the metro and tram systems are easy to access. On checking out the staff happily booked a taxi and nothing was ever too much trouble. If I go back to Milan I'd go back to stay at the Nasco and would recommend this as a hotel with high standards - compared to some 4 star hotels Ive stayed in, I would say this was an accurate rating!

This was a great hotel. The service was excellent and their English were great.
We stayed at the first floor. The view was not great and the only minor problem was that the room was near the road and I was a little noisy at night from the tram. So we closed the door and we keep on the A/C. The room was quite big and very clean. The room service was good and they served the breakfast in our room at the exact time we asked.
The breakfast at the restaurant was excellent with a big variety. You had to wait if you were for breakfast very early in the morning but the queue was coordinated and there was no problem.
The hotel is besides of the tram and very near to underground station (about 200 m) so the access to the center of town was very easy.

A very nice and convenient hotel! We went there for a surprise trip, and we weren't disappointed. The hotel was clean (cleaned thoroughly every day!) and comfortable, yes, the room was a little small and the trams could be a bit noisy (but that is out of the hotels control!) The staff were very good, helpful and courteous at all times. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice.

The hotel offers to arrange airport shuttle for you. Beware: at 100 euros this is quite an expensive option. When I discovered that there was a train taking you to the Cardona station nearby for just 11 euros, I cancelled the shuttle.
Upon entering the hotel I got a lecture about how I stood up the shuttle driver at the airport. Apparently the hotel had failed to cancel the shuttle! They were so mad at me I thought they would refuse to give me a room. Finally the receptionist handed me a room card telling me she would investigate email history. It's the most unwelcome I've ever felt at a hotel.
Later my good name was restored with a dismissive "Yes, we found your email, it's okay now." No apology.
About the room: If you go here be sure to have a room that does not face the street. It is noisy all night long and if you have the fortune to be there on street cleaning day, well you'll need a strong espresso in the morning to get over the lack of sleep!
On the plus side: there are delicious complimentary appetizers in the bar each night and it's a nice place to have a drink before going out to dinner.
