I agree that other reviews for this property are accurate. We stayed in a triple at the end of a hallway so room was quiet. It was a little dark with only one small window on a far wall. Bathroom was small as others have reported, especially the shower (no tub). Staff were friendly but not particularly warm. Generally good location, but you will need to walk 10-20 minutes to get anywhere. Taxi ride from train station costs about 6-7 euros (you will get charged extra if you have a large piece of luggage). Breakfast was good, lots of things to choose from including ham, cheese, pastries, cereal, juices, tea, and yogurt. Pastries were warm and (all you can drink) coffee was made for you personally by staff. For this price point, this was a good value hotel.

The Hotel Alpi Resort is a great hotel. My partner and I stayed here for two nights here in May 2008 and had a great experience. The rates were very reasonable, the room was large, comfortable and clean, and the staff was very friendly. The location of this hotel, a little out of the way (in a good way) is only 2 blocks or so from Via Po and the Piazza Vittorio Veneto and a 10 minute walk from most of the attractions in Turin. The hotel itself is on the 3rd and 4th Floors of a beautiful apartment building - a little confusing when you are arriving at 1am, but nonetheless the tiny elevator and entrance are charming. The only complaint (which isn't really a complaint) is that our room faced Via Maria Vittoria, the side street, which was quite noisy during the day with construction, and noisy at night with the bars that spilled out onto the sidewalk. When we closed the window, this shut out most of the noise however and sleeping was not a problem. The Hotel Alpi Resort is definitely recommended for a great stay in Turin!

I stayed here for the Turin Marathon and it was a good hotel at a very reasonable rate - I paid ?128 for 2 nights on my own, though if there had been 2 in the room it would have felt very small. Nice newly done modern bathroom (though shower not bath - fine with me). Decent location just off Via Po and only 5/10 mins walk up into the very centre of Turin, with the river nearby, area felt safe. Good breakfast with decent range of cereals, breads, cheese, parma ham, juices, pastries etc and of course real expresso. Only downside was I had a room quite close to the reception and the buzzer to let people in was quite loud! So I did wake up a couple of times to it in the night. Walls are thin too. Other than that, clean, ok staff and internet in room so pretty good for the price. No restaurant and fairly small rooms but then if you're like most people and get out of the hotel to wander round as soon as you get there not a problem, decent restaurants nearby.
