My partner and I went for a 5 day break for a chill out. We certainly got it, weather was great, the beach at the end of the Hotel steps was perfect: sand, sloping and great for children too.
The Hotel food was pretty good, and we found the few bars/restaurants were enough for variety.
Recommend a car to have a look at the other areas, but not compulsary for this hotel.
Would definately go back again.

i have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel with 21 of my friends (all female) to celebrate the 50th birthday of myself and 3 others also one 40th birthday. I can only say that the hotel, location and staff exceeded all expectations, excellent. Very quiet but that was just what we wanted as we made our own fun!!
We will definately be going back - if they will have us!!

You know when you book something and you worry that the pictures may have been touched up, well here they have not! This place is fantastic. The staff are great and the location is breathtaking. It is perched in the middle of the Golfo Arrancci on a small headland offering views right around. Don’t be cheap and go for the village view; the sea view is worth far more than it costs!
The beach is great and right on the door step. We didn’t really leave the hotel for the four days we were there.
We were there without the kids as it was an anniversary trip but there were families there and younger and older couples, all mixing and enjoying the quiet hotel. The kids that were there were all well behaved as it is the sort of hotel that doesn’t really attract the tattoo and vest brigade.
There isn’t much else in the area, a couple of bars and restaurants and a supermarket a 10 minute walk away if you need it. The hotel though is that good you don’t need to go anywhere.
We had a superior sea view room with the Jacuzzi shower. The rooms are fine and very clean. Air con is needed for the hot nights.
There are no tea making facilities in the rooms though so if you like an early coffee or tea then take a kettle!
The trip from the airport by taxi was 57 Euros when I got there but the hotel can book it for you and it is a fixed fee of 45Euro so ask when you book.
The beach is nice too with a gentle drop off into the warm sea. Some good areas for snorkelling with plenty of fish in and around the sea weed by the rocks.
We will be going back here again (and we’ve never done that before!).

We stayed at the Gabbiano Azzurro hotel in June 2007 for a week HB. The hotel is lovely and the staff are also lovely and very friendly. Steps away from the beautiful beach, situated in a little bay, the water is like a lagoon mill pond and idealy for little toddlers to while away their days. Sunbeds and umbrella's included and provided by the hotel. The food is very nice, well presented, well served traditional Sardinian cuisine. Not much to do at night but close to a couple of bars if you want to go out and have a drink of three outside the hotel. Idealy if your looking for a lovely relaxing break in the sun this hotel will not disappoint. Good value for money.

Beautiful Views, quiet room, -food was simple, though good resturants at other places.
Beach on the door step was great.
If youre looking to do nothing but read a book and relax - this place is perfect.
Not much to do at night time - Porto Rotundo is better for that.
