hotel prestige is located a 15 minute bus ride from pescara and the buses run every half hour along the seafront. it is over the road from a beautiful beach which was lovely and quiet when we were there but i get the impression it would be packed peak season. there are enough shops and restaurants within a 30 minute walk to keep you amused for a few days but the restaurants were winding down by mid september so it might be problematic off season. the hotel is decorated in a contemporary style and so no chintz which was nice. the room was pleasant but the matress and pillows were very hard and there was only a basic shower, no bath. lovely family running it but run in a slightly haphazard way. it's nice and informal which we liked but not very professional at times. we were given a free lift from and to the airport which was a nice gesture and saved us some hassle. it is excellent value but you do get what you pay for. nothing wrong with this hotel but no luxuries either.

If you have a car and you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stay near Pescara and near the beach, Hotel Prestige is a good deal. For 65 euros a night, our room was clean and modern, everything worked, and there was free internet in the room (if you bring your own laptop and DSL cord). We had an enormous balcony from which you could see the ocean, although it was a couple of blocks away. Breakfast was basic, but the lobby was attractive and there are tables out on the sidewalk to enjoy drinks or a game of cards. Parking was free and easy. Since we stayed only one night, we did not try the beach, but there seemed to be many places with chairs and umbrellas for rent. Hotel Prestige is near the south end of a long strip of large beach hotels – there are a few restaurants and shops, but not much else within walking distance.

Montesilvano is a lovely little resort minutes from the hustle and bustle of Pescara. We booked the Prestige through expedia at a discounted rate. The directions provided were inaccurate and if you are trying to find signs to it in the dark it's a nightmare.
The hotel is situated in a quiet side street 3 minutes from the beach just off the main beach road(the lungomare).
The hotel offers some parking spaces about five so you will have to find your own parking space on the road. Not a problem in off season but during the busy times quite awful.
The hotel is rated as three star and you should not be disappointed overall if you get the right rate. The hotel has a safe, a hair dryer ,sky option for pay for view, air conditioning and a fridge.Should you require mini bar facilities you have to nip down to the small hotel bar where they can supply you with anything you need and at reasonable prices.
The room we stayed in was clean and spacious .It had two beds joined together to make a double which was just about acceptable. The sheets however were never changed during the entire stay and the pillows were the hardest we have ever slept on.Continental breakfast was included and it was fine.
The staff were non commital but helpful. For a short stay it's perfectly adequate but I wouldn't recommend it for a holiday stay,
