Amazing interior design. We stayed in the tower on the ninth floor. Lovely bedroom with huge comfortable bed. But the very best part was a fabulous bathroom, with three huge picture windows giving views of a castle and the mountains. and top quality fittings and tiling! Good choice of food for breakfast..
Although a little away from the centre of Cagliari, turn right as you go out of the hotel to catch the M bus, or left to catch 3P bus to Poetta.
Do not miss a trip to Villasimus and Costa Rei. The bus from the coach station winds up mountain roads with wonderful coastal views, to arrive and perfect white sandy beaches and clear seas.
A meal at Trattori Lillicu, Via Sardegna, is a memorable experience. The entertaining proprietor did not approve of our safe choice from the menu, and suggested Sardinian specialities. Great atmosphere!
We also enjoyed an outdoor dinner (which is unusual in Cagliari) in the nearby charming Monte Carlo Park. About a mile from the hotel, or a bus ride. The restaurant is set out around a lake, with ducks and turtles. Charming and helpful host. There was a good choice of dishes, the main course being barbequed meats or pizzas. There were no other tourists, but the restaurant was full with Sardinian families. Explore the park during the day, then book a table to return in the evening from 8.30pm.

We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel. We found all the staff friendly and efficient. The hotel itself is very modern and spacious. We made use of the gym and pool, which was very nice. OUr room was huge and very comfortable. It was great to have internet and breakfast included. Made things easier. Breakfast was an extensive buffet, everything you could possibly want. The hotel is quite a way out, but there are buses which are easy to use. I would stay here again.

As an American traveling for work overseas this is a fantastic hotel! The service is super friendly and QUICK. Laundry service is fast (less than 24hrs, and once, my clothes were returned in 3 hours!), you never have to wait more than 10 minutes for a porter and no more than 20 minutes for a room service breakfast. The Turkish spa is fantastic, the gym facilities are great and the massage was good, but priced at $100 USD. The staff speaks excellent English! The walk to town is 2.5 miles each way and is not to bad at all. Overall, one of the best European hotels i have stayed at. Try to get a room in the Tower (any floor above 5 I think) Great views!

Fantastic Service at T-Hotel

My Wife, daughter (6yrs old), and I stayed Wednesday through Sunday morning at the T-Hotel. This Hotel is only 2 years old so everything is new and fresh feeling. Usually, we choose less expensive accommadations. Due to a meeting I had to attend, our choice was made for us and we are all glad we stayed here.
The food is fantastic and the room was a deluxe suit with all the necessities included. Internet access is free through out your stay. You can get a LAN cable as well from the desk no charge. Our room rate was 150 euro. I know that's high compared to other places, but again, the good feeling we got from staying here is worth righting about. The breakfast was included for for the three of us. Its a buffet style with very fresh fruits, cereals, meats, cheeses, eggs, sausage and various juices. There were also some sweet croissants of 3 different types. Very good! The wait staff brings you the coffee or tea of choice. Surprisingly, tips at this hotel were not expected. We did tip the bell hop and waiters though and they were very appreciative.
If you are all 18 and over, then deluxe rooms give you free access to the massage spa room. I think you have to pay for an actual massage, but you might not need it after standing under those aqua massagers they have setup in the the spa/wellness pool.
If we go back, we will try to stay here again, but perhaps try for a classic room or standard room with breakfast included.
Any time we needed recommendations for restaurants, the front desk was superb at recommending a nice place with outstanding food and even booking the reservation. Please make reservations whenever possible, really!
The Cagliari Museum is quaint but worth the visit. The views from some of the vantage points near the Wax museum are breathtaking.
Driving a rental kept us flexible and I enjoyed it. But its not for the weak at heart. We had a Renault Cleo and it was a little tight at times in the back streets. I am very happy I had my TomTomGo 910 leading the way for us. Recommend GPS system if you have it, bring it with you. Good luck and enjoy your stay in Cagliari. Next time we plan on going to the beaches in summer!

We had a special deal for a three-night stay in a standard double room. The hotel and room were absolutely luxurious. The room was huge by european standards, we had internet access (charged by the hour), a super kingsize bed and a marble bathroom. We were very grateful for the air conditioning too, as the temperature reached 42 degrees celcius on one of the days of our stay. The buffet breakfast was delicious and included both continental and cooked items, although I suggest getting in early, and the room service meals were very nice. The staff were excellent also. The hotel is out of the centre of town but the quality and comfort are worth it. The only thing I thought was a bit odd, given the luxurious fit-out of the hotel, was that the standard rooms don't included a kettle to make tea and coffee.
