Our friends and us have travelled extensvely all over the world but the greatest hoiday treasure we have found to date is the hospitality extended to us by the staff at the Hotel Brenzone Lake Garda. On arrival late the owner offered us drinks and a snack which she did not need to do but was greatly appreciated by us. This type of professional attitude and attention to detail continued through out our stay , nothing was too much trouble. The food and service was excellent always given with a smile and in amazing surroundings overlooking the Lake . We woulkd highly recommennd this treasure of a hotel to anyone seeking wonderful views of the Lake excellent food along with old fashioned honesty and hospitality , sometimes nowdays forgotten in this busy industry..

Try Brenzone for a taste of the REAL Italy on Lake Garda!

If you are looking for a real taste of Italy on Lake Garda, away from the more commercialised resorts, then do try Hotel Brenzone. If you would like to sit out on your balcony, the Lake literally 20 feet away, and have a spectacular view over the Lake to the mountains and sunsets on the west of the lake then this is the place for you. A real family run hotel (in the same family since 1949), where you receive a warm welcome, as well as complimentary apperitifs before your meal and a glass of 'mamma's grappa' afterwards. Head waiter is the son of the house, Pietro, who is multilingual and both fun and engaging. The food is simple, hot, absolutely delicious and VERY Italian. (Also, inexpensive!) Everything we had was faultless, and consequently we could never bring ourselves to eat elsewhere. The daily specials are always worth a try. And the romantic ambience of eating outside by candlelight right beside the Lake is not to be missed. DO pay the little extra for a Superior Room with Balcony, as the view of the Lake is breathtaking. Typical of a 3 star hotel, the rooms are not luxurious, but they are clean and comfortable, with excellent showers and plenty of wardrobe space. The Lake steamers stop at the landing stage right outside your window - 3 going north and 3 going south each day, so it is an ideal location for exploring the rest of Lake Garda in a relaxed way. After just a few hours at Hotel Brenzone you will feel relaxed and refreshed. We shall return!!
