stayed there for 2 nights. the room was clean, tidy but a bit (probably because we had an extra bed to accomodate 3 people though i requested a triple room). the price was excellent, 90 euro per night. A/C wouldn't be turned on until you call the reception, which was a bit inconvenient.
The location was convenient, right next to the metro station, which is 2 stops from the train station. We took the taxi to the trian station on the day we departed which costed us less than 9 euro. we found it quite reasonable given the fact that we didn't want to haul our luggage anymore. the hotel staff helped us to call the taxi.
the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. they even lent us an adaptor because all the plugs we brought along mysteriously didn't work in their hotel (while they worked in the rest of italy).
Breakfast served was excellent. i LOVE their coffee.

The Hotel del Corso is in a great location. It is within walking distance of the central train station where the airport bus drops off. The closest Metro entrance is almost at the hotel door; it takes a couple of minutes from there to get to the styles. The stop gives access to two lines, one to the central train station, the other to the Duomo etc. Very convenient. Our room was a decent size, with a good sized bathroom, and everything very clean. The staff were great: we arrived around noon from Firenze, so our room wasn't ready; but we were able to leave our luggage with the desk so we could go out and explore the city. When we came back after dinner, our bags had been put in the room.
Breakfast was buffet style, with a range of croissants (plain, chocolate, with jam), brioches, several types of bread, several cereals, juices, yogurt, tea, and four varieties of coffee made to order.
As for other food, the hotel is in easy walking distance (maybe 10 minutes to Spontini Pizza, on the east side of Buenos Aires, virtually midway between the Lima and Loreto metro stops. Very popular locally and a great deal. On the other end of the spectrum, the slow food restaurant Al'Less di Paolo Scaglione, Via Redi ang Via Jan. Tel: [--]. One block south of the Lima metro stop, about two blocks east of Buenos Aires.
Have recommended the hotel to friends in Italy, and would stay there again if we manage to get to Milan again.

Stayed in Milan for one night. The hotel was nice, near the shopping district. Take metro though if you need/want to go to the historic part of town. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was pretty good. Rooms were of good size and bathrooms were very pleasing.

We stayed at this hotel for our post- cruise stay for 3 nights. After our cruise, we took the train from Rome to Milan. When we arrived in Milan, the taxis were on strike! We had to take the metro only a few stops. The hotel was within walking distance of the metro.
Our room was basic, clean, and large by European standards. If you enjoy shopping for reasonably price clothes and shoes then this location is perfect. Because it is in walking distance of the Del Corso area were the locals shop. I found reasonably prices clothes and shoes. On Saturdays, there is a a large outdoor flea market a few blocks from the hotel. There is a grocery store near by where I bought water and snacks.
The staff was English speaking, friendly, and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again.

Hotel del Corso, Milan is a nice hotel in a great location. It is within walking distance of the central train station where the airport bus drops off and 2 min walk from the closest Metro stop (Loreto) which takes you right into the centre of town.
Rooms are clean, furnished quite basically though they vary in size. I had 2 rooms booked and one was bigger than the other, but both still had sufficient room for luggage (and all the extra shopping bags!!)
Breakfast is nothing fancy (croissants, cereal, coffee) but with so many good restaurants this is not an issue.
Would stay here again if in Milan in the future.
