This hotel certainly deserves its four stars. Our room and bath were luxurious. The food in the breakfast room/restaurant was outstanding. It turned out to be a great home base for my wife and me. It was located not too far from the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, and La Scala theater. The only downside was the lack of cafes, groceries, and pharmacies close to the hotel. But definitely a nice, centrally-located luxury hotel.

We stayed here for one night, having chosen it for its central location. We were able to walk to the duomo and the castello Sforza. However, being in the centre did make parking very difficult and expensive - the hotel has no car park.
The hotel seemed to be aimed at business people, and was rather impersonal. The room was small but well equipped. Breakfast was fine but not exciting.

Have just returned from a three night stay at the Manin with my partner. We picked this hotel primarily for its location which was just across from the public gardens and right by Via Montenapoleone etc - perfect for shopping and just a 10 minute walk to the Duomo and la Scala so on location only this hotel is brilliant - however when we arrived we weren't so much greeted as made to feel an inconvenience. When we were shown to our room the bellboy took the smallest of our three bags, leaving us with the larger heavy ones and then waited around with his hand out for a tip! There was noisy building work going on next door around the clock which you think as we had booked through their website they might have let us know about beforehand. Although the room was small, it was clean and comfortable however this hotel must have the thinnest walls and the worst plumbing system ever. You could hear everything in the rooms either side and every time any toilet flushed/shower was turned on it sounded as if it was in the room with you. There was also the most revolting smell in the hallway.
After reading the last review I was looking forward to the bar at this hotel however this was the most peculiar set up I've come across! They have two bars, one was always closed (usually the lobby bar) and trying to find a barman at the other one was a nightmare. We gave up on several occasions just waiting around for someone to show up. I am very pleased that I never paid the £200 per night that some websites were asking for this hotel. If you are looking for something in a great location that is a reasonable price (if booked direct) but aren't bothered about being disturbed all night with the plumbing and having good service then this would probably be a great hotel. However as it is classified as 4 star, this is something I would expect as standard but is lacking here.

Very good place for tourism and business as well

Spent here 4 nights in March, in a business trip.
This place is wonderfully located, just a few minutes from Turati (tube yellow line) and a couple of more mins from Palestro (red). You prefer walking? The La Scala theatre is 10 mins distance, Piazza Duomo 15.
The hotel, in front of one of the few parks of the town (Milan doesn't offer that much in terms of green spots) doesn't provide any private parking, but in the evening Via Manin is usually empty, and for free till 8 am.
Rooms are fine, modern and confortable. Standard 4 star services and no bad surprises. I had a double for myself and I was happy especially with the silence.
Breakfast is a full continental plus bacon and scrambled eggs. Great variety of fruit.
I didn't try the restaurant on the first floor, advertised on Tv in your room and everywhere in the hotel; I tried the bar, and the real plus is the barman. Really friendly, chatty with class, in love for his job: he'll be probably happy to share his knowledge of cocktails and drinks.
I appreciated the fact I was given the chance, during the checkout payment, to pick my favourite currency between the two available on my credit card: this particular is not insignificant, that really doesn't happen often.
The hotel is a couple of doors from the Krizia's showroom, and being apparently well known in the fashion circus, expect to find top models around: it happened once during my stay, on monday evening, and hall and common areas were packed with models chilling out and attending some meeting after work.
Very good place for tourism, and from my experience for business trips as well.
