5 minutes on foot from the waterfront and beach, and the ferrys to Portofino, and ideally located for exploring delightful SML. 5 minutes on foot from the train station for exploration of Cinque Terre and Comogli. The staff were very helpful, the rooms clean and inviting, and breakfast was early ( for us explorers) and very good- even eggs on the week-ends!. Parking was fine; though if SML is your destination it is far easier to travel/arrive by train; you don't need a car and SML is on the main line with fast and frequent through service to Milan, Genoa, and Pisa/Rome.

We had booked at Hotel LaVela and were horrified at the rooms, security and how we were treated. So we started calling around and got a room here.......what a TREAT! The staff was helpful & nice, the rooms bright and SPOTLESS and the breakfast great! Right up the street about 2 blocks from the beach and shops with a grocery store around the corner.

This was a wonderful hotel. We loved the staff. They were so helpful and gave wonderful suggestions. The breakfasts were very nice. They included great cappucinos. We would deinitely stay at this hotel again. The location is also terrific!
