stayed here to go to a concert at the datch forum asago, disapointed to find it was around 5km away, mislead really when booking. Although the hotel is nice, nothing in the area to see or visit.. no golf course and no shops just a co op. good points, the good points are they offered us lifts to get back to train station for free...

Ich musste geschäftlich nach Mailand reisen und hatte weniger als 48 Stunden, um ein Hotel zu finden. Alles im Zentrum von Mailand war komplett ausgebucht und ich fragte mich schon, wo ich absteigen sollte. Auf Lastminute.com traf ich dann auf das Residence Golf Hotel und erleichtert stellte ich fest, dass noch ein Zimmer frei war. Ich nahm vom Flughafen Linate ein Taxi, was ca. 15 Minuten entfernt war (bloß gut, dass der Fahrer ein Navigationssystem hatte, denn manche Fahrer schauen gar nicht nach, selbst wenn man die vollständige Adresse nennt). Bei der Ankunft hieß mich das Personal herzlich willkommen und zeigte mir ein großes und luftiges Zimmer mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht über einen Hof. Mir wurde gesagt, dass ich zum Frühstück nach unten kommen kann oder dass mir das Frühstück auch im Zimmer serviert werden kann, wenn ich das bevorzuge. Das Frühstück war ein schönes Buffet, ich trank den besten Expresso Café, den ich jemals hatte und konnte am Tisch wunderschöne Gärten übersehen. Es war auf jeden Fall die 5 Euro Kosten wert. Das Personal half mir mit den Bus- und Straßenbahnrouten zum Zentrum von Mailand (es gibt einen kostenlosen Shuttle, jedoch nur zu bestimmten Tageszeiten) und ich absolvierte die Strecke für 3 Euros pro Fahrt. Die Rückkehr vom geschäftigen Treiben in Mailand zum Residence Golf Hotel in die wunderbare friedvolle Umgebung war ein Genuss. Ich unternahm mehrere Spaziergänge um das Hotel herum und konnte mich wirklich entspannen. Ein weiteres Plus war die Nähe des Konsums und des kleinen Einkaufszentrums direkt unterhalb des Hotels. Großartig für alle kleinen Dinge, die Sie benötigen. Ein Hinweis an Vodaphone-Kunden. Aufladekarten sind an allen Omnitel-Stellen erhältlich! Ich würde dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen, der eine Basis für Mailand als auch einen Platz zum Ausruhen und Entspannen benötigt. Ich werde definitiv mit meiner Frau und Familie wiederkommen.

Ich war dort, um beim Datch Forum Asage zu einem Konzert zu gehen, ich war enttäuscht, dass es 5 km entfernt war, ich wurde wirklich an beim Buchen an der Nase herumgeführt. Obwohl das Hotel schön ist, gibt es in der Nähe nichts zu sehen oder zu besuchen..keinen Golfplatz und keine Shops. Das Positive...man bot uns kostenlose Fahrten zurück zum Bahnhof an.

I had to go to Milan for business and had less than 48 hours to find a hotel. Everything in central Milan was fully booked and I was beginning to wonder just where I would stay. I came across the Residence Golf Hotel on LastMinute.com and thankfully they had a room available. I took a taxi from Linate airport to the hotel which was about 15 mintes away ( thankfully the driver had sat nav as other taxi's seemed to have trouble locating the hotel even though I had provided them with the full address.) On arrival the staff were extremely welcoming and showed me to a large and airy room with a lovely view over a courtyard. I was told I could come down to breakfast or they would serve breakfast in my room if I preferred. Breakfast was a lovely buffet, the best expresso coffee I have tasted, and I sat overlooking beautiful gardens from the restaurant. Well worth the 5 euro's it cost. The staff helped me with bus and tram routes into Milan center (there is a free shuttle but only at certain times through the day) and I did the journey at a cost of 3 euro's each way. After being in the hustle of central Milan, returning to the Residence Golf Hotel in its wonderfully peacefull surroundings was a joy. I took several walks around the hotel grounds and really chilled out. Also a plus was the proximity of the COOP and small shopping center directly below the hotel. Great for any small bits you may need. A note for Vodaphone line holders, top up cards are available at all Omnitel outlets! I would thouroughly reccomend this hotel to anyone needing a base for Milan as well as a place to rest and relax. I will definately be returning with my wife and family.

First off things disappear upon your arrival, like the free breakfast and the free shuttle. The staff will look confused and question where you got that erroneous information, so if you stay, plan on your own transporation and paying for breakfast. The service was dreadful, we had booked two nights, it was so bad, we checked out after the first night and went to Hotel Maniktoba King. They refused to credit our second night.
