What astounded me most about this little jaunt was the fact that it is at the end of the street, and then you go through the electric gate, and you are in Paradise, I cannot say enough good things about the the Hotel Santellone, everything was perfect-from a drink at there cozy bar to roomservice-there pasta was pure delish, I booked a Jr. Suite from Expedia (( great price 200 dollars)) and the breakfast was above average by Italian standers, the parking was very easy..(( BONUS in my book )) the staff really go out of there way and everything from resturant reservations to helping with luggage was done with a smile-such postive energy the hotel has-I cannot wait until my husband has to go back for bussiness so we can stay there again-they have an amzing spa-sadly I was not able to use it...

Just returned from a short break in Brescia visiting some friends. Looking for a good hotel around that city we decided to stay in Santellone Resort, an ancient abbey renewed as a boutique hotel (with a Spa) located just a few minutes by car from the city. The location is great, elegant and informal at the same time; the hotel is situated in a calm residential area in front of a park. We booked a junior suite, and for a very competitive rate we had a great experience! The room was large and clean, located on two floors: in the first floor we had a living room with comfy chaise longs, a table with two chairs, a flat tv with internet and a small patio; downstairs (the entry was on the 2nd floor) there was our amazing bedroom (with another flat tv) and a huge bathroom (with shower and jacuzzi and, of course, a lot of). Everything in Santellone Resort is new and nice, from the minimal-chic rooms to the garden. Loved the complimentary continental breakfast served in our room (no service charge for it!): coffee, cappuccino, breads, yogurt, fresh fruit juices, fruit, croissants, cookies etc etc.. delicious! You can choose between three breakfast menus: continental, american or healthy. We couldn't try the spa because we had not so much time, but looking at the photos it seems amazing. Definitely recommended!!

Siamo appena tornati da una breve vacanza a Brescia in visita a degli amici. Cercando un buon albergo in città abbiamo scelto di alloggiare al Santellone Resort, una vecchia abbazia trasformata in albergo (con centro benessere) a pochi minuti in auto dalla città. La posizione è ottima, elegante e informale al tempo stesso; l'albergo è in una tranquilla zona residenziale davanti a un parco. Abbiamo prenotato una junior suite e, a un prezzo molto competitivo, siamo stati davvero bene. La camera era grande e pulita, disposta su due piani: al piano superiore avevamo un soggiorno con dormeuse, tavolo con due sedie, televisore a schermo piatto con internet e un piccolo patio; al piano inferiore (l'ingresso era al piano superiore) c'era una bellissima camera (con un altro televisore a schermo piatto), un bagno enorme (con doccia e idromassaggio). Al Santellone Resort è tutto bello e nuovo, dalle camere eleganti al giardino. La colazione continentale servita in camera era ottima (nessun sovrapprezzo per il servizio in camera): caffè, cappuccino, pane, yogurt, succhi di frutta, frutta, brioche, biscotti, ecc.: squisita. Si può scegliere fra tre menù per colazione: continentale, americano o salutista. Non avendo molto tempo non abbiamo potuto provare il centro benessere, ma a giudicare dalle foto sembrerebbe bellissimo. Altamente raccomandato.
