Avoid the first floor like the plague!!

We - two ladies in our sixties - stayed in rooms on the first floor. Room 105 is small, dingy and opens on to a brick wall; the bathroom was much nicer than the bedroom. Room 102 is bigger, overlooks the narrow street which is packed with restaurants and is very noisy until about 1 a.m. Then from 5 a.m. the noise starts up again with dust carts etc. However, the staff were very friendly and efficient, the breakfast good, the bathrooms excellent and the LOCATION FANTASTIC. You can walk to all the main sights, there are plenty of affordable trattoria and pizzeria within a stone's throw. If you book on a high floor, or splash out on a top grade top floor room, you'll be fine. But avoid Room 102 LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

From arrival to departure the hotel staff were helpful and polite. It
was my parent's Golden Wedding present - the staff did not know this.
All staff - breakfast room (Ruby et al), the staff in reception, cleaners and the porters were very friendly. The breakfast was very good. A central hotel, perhaps a little expensive but worth it.

I have stayed in a number of Rome hotels and know it can be expensive, but this is by far the worst hotel I have been to in the city. I cant tell you how bad it is. Dirty, dingey, cramped and most bathroom fittings were broken. A really disappointing end to our week in Italy. It may be central but thats it!

Although slightly expensive this Hotel is well worth any extra paid (we saved the extra paid in not having any transport costs once there as the hotel is right in the centre of all the sights)
Ideally situated just off the Pantheon Square, it is in easy walking distance of all the main sights in Rome easily, and is clean, romantic and the Reception staff are amazingly helpful. Spend some time with them to find restuarants and the best way to see this wonderful city at its best. Can not rate this hotel highly enough.
One small complaint was that our room did not have any cupboard or drawer space.
