Not within walking distance from railway/bus station but access by bus frequent and regular both to city centre and transport.
Hotel decorated in 60's style spacious room on suite with air conditioning. Continental Breakfast . Bar with no draught beer!
Service good and staff pleasant and helpful. Spacious garden but no seats. Excellent value

I can only echo the last review. It was like stepping back in time. The only features to have been updated in the last 30 years were the lifts!
Breakfast was dreadful, the bedroom was, quite frankly dirty, the bathroom door refused to close properly and there were serious concerns with the electrics. Cheap but by no means cheerful!.

Treviso is a wonderful base - lovely in its own right and only a short train ride from Venice - but I suggest you look for a hotel other than the Carletto. It's a bus ride from the centre (or a long walk) and is in a residential area with no eating places nearby. Rooms are shabby, and the cleaners don't "do" corners or tiles so the place is basic and a little grubby. The reception staff are pleasant, but service is minimal. The bar opens only after 8.30pm, breakfast is a VERY poor effort, and often there are coachloads of holidaymakers turning up late at night and leaving (noisily) early in the mornings. Cheap, and you get what you pay for.

Stayed here for one night after an evening flight from London. Never again. First the location - it is _miles_ from the airport and rather remote from Treviso itself. Secondly the room and decor - its tired. Very tired. In fact I'd be surprised if anything has been updated since the seventies, aside from essential repairs. Shabby is probably the word. The bed was lumpy.
And finally the greatest problem with this place - The Staff. They're unhelpful, seem to have no interest in helping visitors and in fact even seem to go out of their way to be rude. My boyfriend, whose family was from the region, speaks fluent locally accented Italian but even this wasn't enough to make a simple request understood, apparently. The reception insisted on making a note of our passport details, whcih is something I'm used to in Europe, but somehow this required them to keep them for four hours and we only got them back when my boyfriend went and complained to the manager at around one in the morning. It didn't feel safe to leave it until the morning, whcih would have been after their shift change.
I didn't like this place at all. I would never recommend it and would never stay there again.
