I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is really bad hotel. No clean, sheets and towels with holes .Unfriendly people at the front desk. Poor breakfast also. Is one of the worst hotels I had been. There is a school next to the hotel and you can't rest because the noise!!!!

Excellent price, excellent service, back of beyond

If you have a car, this is the hotel for you; if not, be prepared to trek 30 mins in every direction to get to the nearest Metro / Restaurant / Bank etc. These guys were tripping over themselves to be helpful - the rooms are excellently furnished, the breakfast buffet good by any standards, the free WiFi was fine - we enjoyed 4 days here, and the immediate area is pretty good by Naples standards (i.e. crap beyond belief, watch out for the dog mess on the pavement etc).
Getting into and out of Naples, Pompeii, Cuma or anywhere involves either a 20 min taxi ride (€10, or €20 if you take the "Hotel Car") or a 30 min trek to the Metro and then a 30 min train ride from the midle of nowhere to the middle of nowhere. Don't take the latter option, even though ti only costs €1.
The Pozzuoli / Bagnoli area is a dive with few decent restaurants and some fairly dingy streets; nothing dangerous, but nothing nice either. Travel 20 mins in any direction and the world opens up, and we particularly enjoyed Capri. Pompeii is great, but a pig to get to from the Autostrade.
If we went back to Naples, we'd stay here again. This is an oasis in a human cesspit.

naples and this hotel turned out to be a great place for a short holiday.
I had heard that it wasn't the ideal tourist spot, was very unwelcoming, too busy, dirty and even dangerous. Apart from the fact that there is a lot of litter around i found most of the preconceptions to prove very unrealistic. It is rich in culture and history (pompeii and vesuvius well worth the trip) and the people are warm and welcoming and mostly speak english. It is busy, but you get used to it and it is important to keep a close eye on your stuff in areas like the stations, but is not a great deal different to any other southern european cities in those respects.
As for the hotel,it was modern, clean, cheap and the staff were very helpful.breakfast was good and the room facilities excellent.True, it is a bit out of the way,but you can get a more localised metro pretty close(on the circumflegrea to edenlandia) and the streets are well lit. definately buy an artecard pass as soon as you can as it is cheap and will cover all the museams, your travel(metro and bus)and one return trip on the ferry to sorrento.
Above all not a relaxing holiday but an adventure well worth it.
