We were leaving the Best Western outside of Milan, Italy, for the airport and remembered we needed to fill our car with gasoline before turning it in. The only gas station we could find was a self-service station without an attendant. Because everything was in Italian, we had difficulty to determing how to get gas from the machine and we lost 20 euros, but fortunately got a credit receipt. Frustrated, we turned our car in, paid the high gas price and returned home. Once home we thought perhaps the Best Western could turn in our credit to the gas station when an atendant was there and use the gas in their hotel courtesy van. It was worth a try. We wrote them a letter saying what had happened and included the credit receipt, our hotel receipt to verify our stay, and a self-addressed envelope. About two weeks later we received 20 euros in the mail, saying they were able to redeem the credit. We were shocked and we wrote them a thank you e-mail. This gesture is a credit to their staff , to their hotel and to the Best Western brand.

We had to travel back to Milan for our flight home, and unfortunately, had to be there for 2 nights. Due to an extremely early morning flight on the second day, we elected to stay out near the airport rather than in town.
This hotel would have been fine for 1 night, but 2 was stretching it. There was nothing within walking distance, and the hotel only offers one dining room - no snack bar, etc. The dining room is expensive. The first night we tried to just order 2 plates of pasta at about 8 euros each. They won't bring you a glass of water, only a bottle, for which there was a 4 euro charge. Then they charge you for the tablecloth! I am not kidding - 3 euros per person. When all was said and done, the meal came to 40 euros, which is what it would have cost for the buffet (1 adult at 26 euros and a child at 14 euros).
The head waiter was rude. We got to chatting with an American couple at the next table, and he repeatedly walked between us in the middle of a sentence, and stood with his back to me, blocking our conversation.
We were stuck there again for lunch the next day, and the second night, we just gave up and got the buffet (which was mediocre, at best). On the positive side, the breakfast, which is included in the room price, is quite nice, and offers a much larger selection than is usual for Italy.
The hotel itself is also nice - clean, modern, and with a decent sized bedroom and large bath. There's also a nice outdoor pool.
If you can arrive in the afternoon, only eat in the dining room once, take advantage of the buffet breakfast and free airport shuttle, and then fly out, this is a pretty good choice.
Otherwise, I'd pass.

This is a nice, clean and modern hotel very near Malpensa airport. It offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport. It also has free internet in the room. You can get a government rate if you book it through the Best Western Website. It was quite and has a good breakfast in the morning, which is included in the price of the room. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who may need a hotel near the airport. They also let us borrow a power converter, as ours had quit working.

I wanted to stay near the hotel because we would only be in town one night and we had a flight out the next day. I read all the reviews and didn't have high expectations.
When I arrived I called for the hotel shuttle and it arrived in about 10min. We got to the hotel and the lobby looked better than expected. The staff's english was ok...but hey I am in Italy. The receptionist English was much better than my Italian.
The rooms were ok. My only complaint was there were stains on the carpet. I hate hotel carpet. I try to get wood or marble floors when in Europe. The best selling point for me was free wireless internet in the rooms. In Europe they are a bit crazy with their $5 & $6 euro and hr.
If you are looking for a quick over night stay this one will do.

Not a bad hotel, service was good considering we arrived at almost 1AM local time. stayed here for a week as it was the hotel recommended by local staff and is a short distance from the airport. rooms are rather small compared to US type of hotel rooms, beds are very hard, not my taste but that is relative. Breakfast is standard fair, nothing out of the ordinary. Restaurant offers a la carte and buffet menu both are good, my suggestion would be to take the buffet as for the price you get quite a bit of choice and includes water and wine, otherwise everything has a price and can add up. would recommend for a short stay with a need to be close to the airport. otherwise I would suggest going further in towards Milan or possibly Varese.
