We chose this hotel because we were looking for a reasonably priced hotel between Venice and Florence, and it was located right across from the train station. Since we were on a backpacking trip, we were grateful to not have to search for our hotel after getting off the train. The hotel was clean; the staff was friendly; the brunch was decent; but Ferrara was a disappointment. It was a 20 minute walk to the town center where the castle is located. Once we got there, we did not find many restaurants or shops, and the castle was worth looking at for only a few minutes. If you are like us and unable to find a place in Bologna or close to Florence, this hotel is fine for a one night stay if you just need a place to sleep. However, I would look for a hotel in a different city if you want to find evening entertainment.

Apparently it's a four stars hotel but in reality it is much worse. We were given a double old room with broken lights, old television and much noise coming from the road! No sound-proof rooms then... Anyway I think it was not our room the problem but the hotel itself:maybe in the past it was very good but now it definitely need to be renovated! On the contrary rates, location and breakfast are good!

In teoria è un quattro stelle, ma in pratica è molto peggio. Ci hanno dato una vecchia camera doppia con le luci che non funzionavano, una vecchia televisione e con un sacco di chiasso che proveniva dalla strada! Niente camere insonorizzate quindi.... Comunque non credo che il problema fosse la nostra camera, ma l’hotel stesso: forse nel passato era molto bello, ma ora ha un grande bisogno di essere ristrutturato! Tuttavia, l’ubicazione, il prezzo e la colazione erano ottimi.
