Just returned from a 6night stay at this hotel. It's good value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast very good. On New Year's Day breakfast was later then normal but as we went down earlier the staff did their best to prepare breakfast for us. The hotel is a bit far out of Bologna centre but it's very easy to take the bus outside the hotel and back for just 1 euro each way. It runs till midnight. We had a car and it was easy to get around even to a parking in Bologna centre. We visited Maranello, Ferrara. Florence, San Marino and even went to Lizzano which is near a snowy mountain (Corna). And of course we did a lot of sightseeing in Bologna which is a magnificent city. we always ate at a restaurant "La Scalinatella" in a small side street off Via Rizzoli infront of Piazza del Nettuno. We enjoyed the local dinners offered and the owners are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Bologna is surely an area of Italy which I will gladly return to in the near future.

This hotel is great value for money. Had all the feel of a luxury hotel for a fraction of the cost. Breakfast selection was very good indeed, staff were always friendly and helpful. The bedroom had everything you would need and the bathroom even had a whirlpool bath which was a nice way to relax after a hard days sight seeing. The location was perhaps not the nicest I've ever seen with a prison type facility in view and prostitutes on the roads nearby but I wouldn't let it put anyone off booking this hotel. It seemed quite a way out of the centre of Bologna but I did note that buses departed frequently to town right outside the hotel so getting around shouldn't be a problem for anyone without a car. For those with a car, the motorway is easy to get to and there are many towns and cities within easy reach of Bologna which are worth visiting.

Courteous staff; fantastic breakfast was included in our lodging; room was very nice. We were very impressed! We arrived late in the evening after the kitchen had closed but they were willing to fix us a little something to eat; air conditioning went off around 8 am, however, and this made packing for our departure uncomfortable. Still, a great place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
