I travel to Venice a lot and I stay in different hotels according to the best rates I can get . I think this is a nice hotel . Location is very very good. And yes rooms are small but so are rooms all over Venice . I paid I think about 90 euro for a double which was not bad at all.
Thanks, yes stay here you will like it.

I have been suggest a trip to murano from the hotel Ateneo and we discover that was a patetic trick planned in advanced with the factory in murano, made only to spend money inside the Mazzuccato. After showed my disappoint to the hotel they only be able to give me stupid excuses spreading faults to every body.Ateneo and Mazzuccato are both a sad example of turist structures existing only to still money to turists

This hotel is just stunning! We stayed there for a couple of nights and loved it! It was a short walk to Piazza San Marco. Our bedroom window overlooked the canals. The setting is very old world italian. The rooms were a generous size. The only problem we found was that there was no lift and given our suitcases were huge and heavy we had to give our muscles a work out! Also as this is not a traditional hotel with a traditional reception area we actually woke the hotel owner when we arrived back late from a night out at the local bar. I highly recommend staying here. We stayed in the middle of winter so the prices were very reasonable.

ciao
