Very relaxing and enjoyable

My wife and I came to Prague to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and I booked the Da Vinci because I saw, and liked the look of it on an earlier visit in April. I wasn't disappointed, the hotel and staff were very kind and considerate and the accomodation clean and pleasant. It made our stay in Prague all the more relaxing and enjoyable. We loved the layout and style of your hotel and will definitely return.

A three star hotel recommended to me by a previous guest. A 30 minute ride from the airport in a car arranged by the hotel, costing 24 euros. Good welcome and room was pleasant with only critisism being lack of cupboard space.
Its worth taking extra hangers to save asking for them.
Breakfast was included and is both hot and cold with good choice and served in the basement.
Tv was reasonably good with Eurosport and BBC World Service plus half a dozen mixed channels.
Hotel is good value compared with hotels nearer Old Square, and is only two stops ( 18 Czech Korona) on the Metro from Old Town.
Euros are accepted everywhere and good rates were being offered for Sterling.

The hotel was lovely, and everything looked just like the pictures I had seen prior to our visit. The place was immaculate, modern, and staff were friendly. We really could not fault the hotel - the slight problem of only having one pillow each was easily rectified when we asked for extra, which we received immediately with no problems. The hotel was in an excellent location for us, everything was in walking distance, and we found a great bar/restaurant (Legenda) only a short distance away from the hotel (over the road and around the corner) which we visited several times during our stay. I would recommend this hotel, and would definately stay here again.

My husband and I just visited Prague and stayed at the Hotel Da Vinci. At first we thought we were far away from everything but realized soon (when stumbling home from a beer hall) that we were only blocks away from everything. Prague is very compact so we walked to the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and Old Town from the hotel (maybe a mile or mile 1/2). There's a metro stop around the corner and also 3 blocks away at the top of Weslesas Square(Museum Exit) which takes you to the Devorik bus stop which bus takes you to the airport. The trams are around the corner as well. Tram 22 and 23 go to Prague Castle.
This area (New Town) is great for travelers who like to hang with the locals and not always more tourists.... New Town is very local--there's no reason for tourists to make their way there unless they're staying here... and there aren't THAT many hotels in the area. There's some great cafes and bars in the new town area to explore. We especially loved the place down the street maybe 20 yards.
We would stay here again and we'll refer it to others. It was a good value, breakfast was convenient, and a good location without being trapped among other americans...
note: from the airport, take the 119 bus to Devorik. Take the Devorik metro to the Museum exit. You'll be looking at the top of Wesleclas Square. Go to the right of the big museam about 3 blocks or so- pass Zitna and Jecna streets) You'll see Hotel DaVinci facing you on a corner.

Good:
Cheap (maybe just me got the really good rates)
Breakfast
Not so good
Loud (adjucent to busy road)
Internet charge
Small shower room, only one person at time even in double room
Safe box in room is too small for laptop, however, hotel lobby agrees to keep mine
very small desk space
My check in was a little slow (room wasn't not ready by 1:30 PM. Says check in time 2:00PM though, can't complaint much, but hey)
a little off the center location. even though very close to Tram station and Subway, but walk to center is about more than 10-15 mins.
It's not a hotel for everyone. love the low rate but can't live with the noise.
