My buddy and I stayed here for four nights from May 16th - May 20th. Overall the hotel was a good choice. The people at the front desk were very knowledgeable and very courteous on all shifts. They go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant experience. A plus as well, very close to all the attractions and the tram and metro.

My husband and I just returned from 4 nights at Hotel Atlantic. The hotel was in a good location next to all major attractions and public transportation. Everywhere is walkable and can be reached by metro and/or tram. They use the old lock and key system that you have to carry around a big bulky key for the room and the safe. The twin room we got was sleepable but no air conditioner. We kept the window open all day and all night. Every night the restaurant/pub (Metropol) across the street had loud music but we were so tired from the long day of sight seeing, we were able to fall asleep without too much trouble. The breakfast was okay and one morning, the food ran out and they didn't provide anymore for late comers. Don't forget to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, soap and an alarm clock. When traveling to/from the airport, use the Czech Airline airport transportation in front of the Hilton hotel 2 blocks away. It's 120 Kc per person whereas the hotel charges 680 Kc. Overall, if you are looking to spend some time in the hotel, stay somewhere else with better amenities but for reasonable and affordable hotel that you can sleep after a long day of sight seeing, then this hotel will be good enough.

I booked this last minute online at a great rate of $150 US per night. The hotel is right on the edge of old town so it's only a couple minutes from the city center/clock. The metro takes you right next to the hotel. We came in to the Praha Holesovice train station and jumped right on the metro to go to the hotel. Just take the C line to Florenc and then the B line to the Namesti Republicky. It is just minutes away. It's very easy to navigate. There is a gigantic 6 story mall called the Paladium right next door to the hotel. Tons of places to eat and lots of shopping. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but it's great inside. It's VERY clean. Even the downstairs bathrooms off of the bar area are clean; probably the cleanest public restrooms I've seen in all of Europe. The room is great! We booked a triple and the room is big and very clean. There is a free wall safe in the room. Free wireless internet in our room and even a computer downstairs with free internet. The bathroom was so clean that it smelled of bleach. There are big windows that open all the way up and overlook the street. The beds are okay, not the most comfortable but then again I'm spoiled with my memory foam mattress at home so I never like hotel beds. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice, clean place to stay that is just a few minutes from the old town square.

The Hotel was well situated. The room was big for European standards. It was clean and has a modern bathroom. The staff was very helpful and friendly and always eager to help. The breakfast buffet was extensive.
