I stayed at this hotel for 10 days on business. I was working in Duluth, about 30 mins drive by car and preferred to stay somewhere more lively.
The hotel is in a nice location, walking distance from the Lenox Mall and close to plenty of bars and restaurants. It's also easy to find from the international airport, again about 30 mins by car - and that's with a Brit driving without GPS.
Hotel is still very new, modern and clean. I had a very nice room overlooking the main road but the noise was minimal. No complaints about the room and bathroom at all.
Pool was nice although overlooks a parking lot and is in shade from the sun during the evening. Never tried the gym.
Only used the restaurant for breakfast. We ate out at nearby, cheaper, restaurants. There's a great bar a few hundred yards from the rear entrance door that served great fish & chips, pizza and speciality ales.
Minor complaints are having to pay for Internet. I got charged a "no show" fee when I arrived after midnight, even after they deleted my reservation from the system and took over an hour to recover it.
I used their self parking at the parking lot around the corner and got charged every single time I arrived/left instead of a single charge per day - be careful!
Breakfast was not included and cost me 20 USD per day! OK it was a nice breakfast but the staff expected a tip even after paying 20 USD - way too much. My colleagues that had breakfast included were still expected to sign the receipt and leave a tip! I was really fed up with everyone expect a tip for doing next to nothing. We joked that the staff expect a tip for saying good morning.
Business lounge on the top floor was nice. Free drinks and buffet with deserts. Price for bottled water in rooms and minibar was an extortionate 6 USD! Best to stock up from the business lounge.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is in a great location, but the service was awful. They were so-so when we checked in but the rate we had included a free breakfast for two. Because we had booked our reservation through hotels.com they said they wouldn't honor it. I ended up calling hotels.com and after an hour on the phone, back and forth they agreed to honor the breakfast ($50 value). At that point, I was worn out with the lack of service and being treated like a second class citizen because I used hotels.com. Stay somewhere else- there are nicer places with much better service.

My mother and I recently stayed here for a mother's day shopping weekend. This hotel needs some attention. For the potential quality of the property, it obviously has been poorly managed. We stayed on the 18th floor. We had cigarette stains on the bed, AC/heat that didn't work correctly, and musty rooms were more in line with a motel 6 than a 4 star hotel. The cleaning service was sloppy, and brought us new towels with funny odors.
We just had the overall sense that the staff didn't take that much pride in keeping up the place. Sad. We will not be returning to this hotel.

The Grand Hyatt Buckhead in Atlanta Georgia was more than expected. Professional staff, well maintained building and grounds, and a nice comfortable room. We arrived at 4:00 pm and yes they were busy but we were attended to very promptly. Our luggage was taken care of and the vehicle too. There was very little waiting at check in. The gentleman at check in was courteous and friendly. When we got up to the room, it was clean and fresh. The luggage was brought up within 5 minutes. There is just to much to say here but the stay was excellent, the staff really did show "southern hospitality" and Priceline got us a super rate for this hotel. I would return and would suggest that anyone interested in the Buckhead area consider the Grand Hyatt.

We picked based on location. A great choice, lots of dining and shopping near by. We had a corner king, great views and furnished very nice. Downsides, having to pay for internet, Hyatt still lags here. Ordered room service, tip is included in the price!
