The Hyatt at the Arcade is just beautiful in every way. From the valet car parking with luggage storage, check in and all the help we received from Fred, the Concierge, it was all excellent! This is an amazing place to stay and walking distance for many things. It is also close to the trains which will take you anywhere you need to go. This is a MUST STAY place if you are going to Cleveland!

What a beautiful hotel!
This is the smartest place to stay in Cleveland. The newly developed East 4th area (right outside the Hyatt doors) is the best part of Cleveland I have discovered during monthly visits over the last 6 years or so. I did not know there was nightlife in Cleveland until I saw this charming street filled with great restaurants, bars, and even a House of Blues. I used to stay at the Marriott, but was unimpressed with the hotel service and hated that there is no where to go for dinner, drink, or any type of nightlife after 5:00pm.
The Hyatt gives an impressive experience that I never thought Cleveland could offer; Hotel charm, helpful staff, and a great location for a business person makes such a difference!
I am sorry that it took so long for me to realize there was a Hyatt in Cleveland!

If you didn't like this hotel, it must be because you live in a castle, or somewhere that blocks you from enjoying pleasure in life. The hotel is great, located in a historic arcade (spectaculor). The rooms have 15-foot ceilings, lots of spacte for the beds, the TV, the sofas. It's almost as big as a small apartment. You'll enjoy this room, I guarantee it!

Poor air quality in room, try the Embassy Suites or Marriot instead...

You can stop by this hotel to see the beautiful interior lobby, but I cannot advise staying here. Try the Embassy Suites or Marriot Key Center, which are both close by. I booked at this Hyatt at the advice of a friend who had stayed there before. In my opinion, the $200 per night price tag was not worth it. I requested a room in a quiet corner upper floor on the lobby side of the building and was given an 'upgraded' room on the 4th floor overlooking the lobby. The room smelled of grease and had bad air quality. The windows looked out on the ground air conditioning exhaust units. When I opened one of the windows for fresh air, I could smell what seemed like restaurant air exhaust. The outside of the building was very dirty and pigeon droppings were all around the windows. I closed the window and closed the curtains and then sprayed some of my Oust room deodorizer that I always carry with me on trips! I asked at the front desk for another room but was told there were none available. That was odd, because it was obvious there were not many people staying at this hotel. The bathroom needed door repairs and a good floor scrubbing. It was not up to other Hyatt standards. There was no complimentary breakfast or coffee, you are on your own. I reported my findings at checkout
and the attendant thanked me for staying and said that he would take a look into it.

Hyatt Cleveland - Hands Down Best Hotel in the City

I had to stay in Cleveland for business trip in May. I was unaware that there was a Hyatt in Cleveland, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of accomdations and the friendly staff and service that awaited me upon my arrival. The hotel has a great location to East Fourth Street (which is right outside their back door) where there are tons of bars and restaurants. I saved a lot of money on taxis as they are in walking distance from everything in the city; it is a great central location. I will be sure to book the Hyatt again when I am back in Cleveland for business this month.
