Having stayed in a couple of other hotels in Saigon this was in a league of it's own. We were fortunate enough to take a one bedroom suite and boy oh boy was that luxury. We needed a balcony and were indeed quite demanding guests. we dealt with Cam Anh (the assistant manager) and she was just fantastic. She ensured every detail was attended to. We had suite 325 which was on the pool level and the suite had a balcony that opened up straight onto the pool. We were staying in Vietnam with others and our arrival was an organised suprise on some expats. Well we needed concierge to get involved and be part of the sting which included riding motorbikes with our friends on the back up to the front doors etc etc. Having stayed 5 star all around the world, most hotels would get stuffy about doing this sort of thing....Well full marks Park Hyatt your staff and service are the best. As for the rooms, furnishings, food and all amenities..... it was pure class. If we go back to Saigon there is only ONE place to stay.

Stayed at the Park Hyatt from Jun 27-29 on a short trip from Hong Kong and enjoyed every minute of my stay.
If you can try to book through AMEX under the fine hotel and resorts program. The amenities are worth it.
The room was very nice. The bed was super comfortable.
The breakfast at opera was good not great. I also had dinner there and thought that the food was pretty good. I didn't get to try the more formal restaurant upstairs but it looked like a cool place.
The best part about the hyatt is the pool. I had great luck with the weather the entire time I was there but I think that it normally rains a lot. If the weather cooperates the pool is very relaxing. The water is kept a perfect temperature, the staff is very attentive. Overall just a great luxury to have when you want to return to the hotel and escape the hustle and bustle of Saigon.
The prices are very reasonable in respect to LA, NY, HK but for Vietnam standards they are a bit on the high side.
The hotel staff was very pleasant and always willing to help.
And while you are there check out the spa and try out the thai massage. It was well worth it.

This is one of the best hotels in Asia. It's in a fantastic location, great rooms, fast broadband, gorgeous pool, relaxing spa and an enormous gym. The restaurants offer a huge variety and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever seen. I once wasn't able to get a room at the Park Hyatt, but still went there for breakfast - its that good.

The Park Hyatt is in an excellent location in the Dong Khoi district which is very central in Saigon. The common area's are very comfortable and well appointed and having been open only three years still looks brand new. It is very easy to walk around and see some sights and we found getting cabs to get around was easy too.
Our bedroom was quite large with loads of storage space and well appointed, a fantastic wet room style area in the bathroom and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in! House keeping was excellent. There was absolutely no in room noise, which for a hotel this size is amazing.
We loved having the swimming pool to come back to and have a dip in after lots of sightseeing. Pool side service was brilliant and we never had any problems getting a bed.
Generally the staff here were extremally attentive and the service was excellent. In fact I think I have used the word excellent throughout the review and genuinely can't think of anything negative to say about the place. We didn't eat here other than breakfast which had everything you could possibly have wanted to eat buffet style and cooked options and was also excellent.
Locally we ate at Pho 24 (a chain, but a good one! Cafe style) for a genuinely Vietnamese lunch experience and amongst other places Lemongrass, which is five minutes from the hotel and was beautiful food and really nice staff who delighted inshowing us the Vietnamese way of eating things. Great! In fairness we didn't have a bad meal locally at all.
I would certainly return to the Park Hyatt and would recommend it any kind of traveller.
