Clean, roomy, but pricey for what you get. Stingy breakfast bar.

With tax, we paid $122 to stay there. There were much less expensive motels at that exit that looked to be of comparable quality. The room was roomy and clean. The cable channel selection on the TV was adequate. The front desk was often unmanned, but someone would come, if you called for them. Compared to other motels where we have stayed (including other Hampton Inns), the breakfast bar was surprisingly stingy. There were sausage patties, but no eggs, bacon or potato item. There was some sort of french toast sticks, but no french toast. The selection of rolls and pastries was very limited. The fresh fruit did not include bananas. There was no cut fruit bowl or much of anything else. The selection they had was of good quality -- just not a whole lot of it. They had a very good selection of very good coffee that was available all the time. However, after we paid nearly twice what other motels in the area were charging, we expected more. The next time we stay in the Youngstown area, we will book another motel.

Traveling cross country and not being familiar with the area, we read reviews, then took a chance. We were not disappointed. It was a great hotel, very clean, great room, very comfortable new beds, good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. We did get a little lost finding it because we didn't see the signs, but everyone made us feel welcome. A great Steak & Lube next door, also.

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn many times, whenever we are on our way to Cedar Point (rollercoaster heaven!) or in this case as a stop point before going on to Chicago. We are always satisfied, rooms are always clean and the beds are awesome. The are actually more comfortable than the ridiculously expensive bed we just invested in at our own home. We will continue to frequent this place whenever we are in the area.

My family and I were traveling home to WI after a trip to the East Coast. This was by far the nicest place we stayed on our entire trip, significantly better than the much pricier "Downeast" hotels. The room was immaculate, as was the rest of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was actually a breakfast.... including scrambled eggs with ham, cereals, fresh fruit salad, etc, as well as the usual breakfast pastries. As other members posted, beds were very comfy. I also enjoyed being able to use the computer in the lounge/breakfast area to respond to a couple of e mails. WIwanderer

Arrived at 11:00 pm and the room was clean, comfortable and lage enough for a family with two teens and two adults to move about comfortably. We are on our way from Missouri to the East Coast and this was a stop after 10 hours of driving - a welcome retreat. Quiet too!
