Unfortunately we were only there about 8 hours...found the hotel at about 11pm and left by 7am...but the room was clean, roomy and for the first time since we left home (we stayed at 5 different hotels that trip) we had lots of room in the bathroom..it also had a nice fridge/bar area and really comfy bed. The continental breakfast they have is only so so...but overall a great stay!

We have stayed at just about every hotel in and around Winchester and this one is our preferred destination. We absolutely love it there. The place is very clean, staff is courteous and helpful, food is great, and the amenities are endless. The price paid is a bargain for what you get. No other hotel around it even compares. We very highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Winchester!

My husband & I took a one week trip through Virginia visiting relatives. The 3 nights that we did not sleep at a relatives home we stayed in 3 different Hampton Inns. The 3 were very similar in appearance and amenities. All 3 were very clean and offered basically the same continental breakfast. This sameness is wonderful, the beds are all comfortable, the food is consistent, coffee, tea & hot chocolate are always available. My husband especially liked that they all had Hazelnut flavored coffee creamer. He kept saying this is great, we know what to expect.
This Hampton Inn in Winchester was set back from the highway and we heard no traffic noise. The room in this hotel was a little smaller then the other 2 Hamptons later in our trip, but that is nothing to complain about. It seemed that most of the guests were there on business, I overheard one man confirming a reservation for the following week, he must be a regular.
As I stated above this hotel was very clean, which is the number 1 feature you want in a hotel. I commend Hampton Inn on having there hotels all follow the same rules & regulations concerning appearance and amenities. We appreciated the fact that once we stayed at the one Hampton Inn we were eagerly anticipating the next one for a repeat of a comfortable nights stay.
My husband said that Hampton Inn is our hotel of choice from now on. I hope he never regrets that decision.

A decent place. Although an untold number of us stay there for events located at Summit Point Raceway, the staff seem generally unacquainted with the place and our requirements. There are occasional difficulties with uncaring desk personnel. For the most part, however, the hotel provides a decent value, especially if you can book ahead and get a price around $80/night. Good Internet, no problems with facilities, good maid service. This is a much better place to stay than the NASA-frequented Shoneys Inn across the street.
