I stayed two nights here in June, 2008 on a business trip. We had a long weekend business meeting at the hotel. The hotel is a little bit of a drive from the airport, but not too bad. It's a brand new hotel and it looks the part. I hadn't seen a Hampton Inn this large before, but the staff do a good job of keeping the guests happy and maintaining the hotel. The check-in was easy and efficient and the rooms were large and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft, clean and new, something that's always important to me.
The a/c worked great, which is important when staying in Florida. For the money it was a great value, since most hotels this new and relaxing will cost more.
There is a free breakfast every morning, and the coffee is great, but I wasn't much impressed with the food. I'd rather have paid a little something to have some better choices in danishes, cereals, or doughnuts.
The business center was free, well equipped, and didn't seem very busy, so you can print out your boarding passes easily.
There were some loud children screaming down my hallway late one night, but one call to the front desk stopped that pretty quickly. Otherwise, a very pleasant place to stay.

My family and I arrived here late on a Friday afternoon, we were on our way to Disney World and wanted to stop over for one nights stay. The hotel is in a great area, plenty of dining options within walking distance. The minute you walk in you are greated by a very friendly staff. Check in was breeze, we were up to our room within minutes. The room was huge!! We were very impressed, my family of five had plenty of space and did not feel like we were on top of each other. The bathroom alone was big enough to put and extra bed. The room was equipped with flat LCD tv's, and two queen size beds along with a desk. The hotel also offers free internet access which is great if you like to stay connected. The beds were amazing, the pillows were so soft and comfy, we had a great nights sleep. There is also a complimentry hot breakfast buffet offered each morning. It was great, they had plenty of everything for everyone, and it was kept well stocked. They didn't run out of anything! I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay. My family and I will be back next year!!!!!
This hotel is like being at home. Comfortable, clean and safe!!

The Hampton Inn & Suites was the best hotel for the value!
From the moment I arrived I felt like I was at home. I was greeted by Stacy who was very helpful and polite. I also had a hot complimentary dinner, which was a nice treat after a long drive. Janet the hostess reminded of my Mom and her home cooking. This hotel had all of the small things that make a stay more like being at home instead of a stale hotel stay (which most have been lately)
Breakfast the next morning was excellent and my meeting I held in their meeting room was the perfect size for my training.
I recommend this hotel to any business traveler as well as the savy leisure traveler. They have complinentary services, friendly staff, clean rooms and a great safe location.

This Hotel does not value the business traveler. Management was very rude and not helpful when a problem arose. The manager on duty was a female and she spoke down to me as if I was a child. She acted "put out" even at times "mocking me". The first issue arose when I wanted to change rooms as the room I was given smelled of smoke. She proceeded to tell me this was a non-smoking room and no one had smoked in it. I could smell the smoke and I have problems with asthma as well. I am not one to complain but this was one of the worst experiences in my life in a hotel.
To be honest I thought this was some sort of joke. I have never been treated this poorly at a hotel before. The Hotel property is nothing special. I would reccomend the Hilton Garden Inn or the Marriot Courtside as I have had nothing by good exeperience here.
This is a real shame as I am usually stay at Hampton properties. Not in TALLAHASSEE!!!!

This is a total gem of a hotel. Just happened upon it on a cross country trip and was almost put off by all the construction on I-10. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful. In fact one was about to run errands for a guest that had just called down. The rates were amazing (98 / AARP) and we were even upgraded to a suite for free.
The lobby is clean and the buisness center features two Macs with 20 inch+ screens. There are shipping supplies stored there as well and anything one might need (printer/ fax/ etc).
The room was clean and features the cloud 9 bed with a flat screen TV. It was well maintained and had personal touches such as a remote to control the heating/cooling system from bed.
Overall I think this is one of the nicest Hampton Inn's I have stayed at and if my travels take me through Tallahassee again I would stay here again.
