This hotel was great for our family get-away to St. Louis. We have four kids so we stayed in a 2 double bed suite, with the pull-out couch. The indoor pool is a tad small but very clean and well-maintained-- it was never crowded. Hot tub is great as well! Housekeeping did a great job. Just down the street from the Science Center, and the Zoo is a short drive away!

I stayed at this hotel for a family wedding, and I was pleasantly surprised. The room (one king bed) was spacious and decorated in a nice modern style. The lobby and staff were pleasant, even though they were very busy (I think there were several wedding groups staying there that weekend). Though we were first told there were no cribs for our baby available, the manager was able to locate one and personally called to let us know it was being sent up.
There were fresh cookies available at the desk periodically, and the pool and fitness center, though small, were well-maintained and had good equipment.
As of this review (Memorial Day weekend 08), the sports bar on the premises was closed. There were a couple of casual restaurants within walking distance, though--a few blocks away without needing to cross the interstate.
Note: those this is very geographically close to Forest Park, you can't really walk there very well, considering it's across the very busy interstate. A car works better.
The breakfast was good with a fair number of choices--mostly cold (pastries, cereal, fruit) but a couple of hot items. The breakfast room was pleasant.

A new hotel along I64 near Forest Park. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It's a good place to stay.
The pizzaria just up the hill to the west is a great place for dinner.

Nice hotel, convenient to Washington University
Guest name: ArkansasOrchid, Arkansas
We stayed in a suite with two queen beds at the end of a corridor. The room was spacious and unusually stylish (modern) in its decor. We were welcomed professionally at the front desk and had no problems with the room, which was clean and in excellent condition. For a mid-priced hotel, we thought that this was a good value given the room size, appearance and cleanliness. It is located across from Forest Park (although it is across a freeway, so the views aren't spectacular) and is conveniently located for visitors to Washington University. There is no restaurant within walking distance of the hotel (there is a sports bar/grill next door but it was closed when we were there). There are plenty of restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. We would certainly stay here again.
I would not reccomend this hotel!

This is the third time staying at this hotel. The first time was great but was with, from what I found out a different company. The old manager (middle eastern) was fantastic, warm, and professional! I stayed here the second time in March. Stay was mediocre. I figured I would give them one more chance. The location is great since my son goes to Washington University School of Medicine. The only good thing about this hotel was a very nice breakfast worker. She was extremely friendly. The management staff was unaccomodating and unprofessional. That was just the beginning of it. The girl at the front desk was rude and made it seem like we were doing her a favor by staying at the hotel. She was a morning worker mostly. Never smiled and would roll her eyes at us when we walked by. The room we had was not what we reserved. We had requested a suite but did not receive it, instead we got two queens. I found a dirty sock under the bed and there were ants in the waste basket. Gross!! Pulled the comforter back and found long strands of black hair!!
When I brought the matters to the manager, whom I found out was the general manager, basically said so what but not in those words.
My husband travels most weeks so I know how important good service is.
