The Hampton Inn & Suites San Marcos, TX is a new hotel, opening May 2003, located on I-35 between San Antonio and Austin at Exit 204 in the northeast corner of the intersection, just behind Luby's restaurant.
Facilities and amenities include: 90 guest rooms each with 25-inch TV with expanded Cable TV, HBO, Disney, ESPN, etc. Free high speed Internet connections, hair dryers, in-room coffeemakers, iron and ironing board, sofa sleepers in king rooms and suites, queen beds in all double rooms, 24 studio suites which include microwave, mini-refrigerator, wet bar and a living area.
Other amenities include a complimentary continental breakfast with a variety of hot items, outdoor pool, and exercise room.
For our corporate clients a meeting room and board room are available. Outside catering and audiovisual services also available.
We are located near Texas' largest outlet malls, Southwest Texas State University and the San Marcos River, which offers tubing and a variety of parks and activities.
We are 20 minutes from Wimberley, Gruene and New Braunfels. New Braunfels attractions include Gruene, Schlitterbahn and River activities on the Comal & Guadalupe Rivers. Austin is just 25 minutes north of San Marcos and has many attractions and events including the State Capitol, Longhorn Football, Zilker Park, Mercer Arboretum, Town Lake, and Barton Springs. Seaworld, Fiesta Texas, the Riverwalk and much more are all available 45 minutes south in San Antonio.
