This hotel needs updating. Everything looked old. Roof had been leaking and now parts of the ceiling was peeling and you could see streaks going down the wall where it had been wet. Found bugs in bathroom. The wall had about 3-4 feet section that the paint had been scrapped off. Bed was comfortable. Morning breakfast was waffles, sausage, danish, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and juices. Breakfast wasn't too bad.

When I say best hotel, I mean best of a few. If this hotel were in other areas, I probably wouldn't stay. The Holiday Inn next door looks newer.
Staff was very courteous and the breakfast personnel were very friendly.
Overall, no major complaints.

We've stayed here several times over the last few months - we stay in Sherman on the way to my parents' house. Consistently friendly staff, consistently nice exercise/swim facilities, always clean, and best of all, the beds are GREAT! I will try to stay here whenever I need to stop in Sherman. I saw the earlier review regarding the parking lot and a theft there. I have always parked on whichever side my room is on and have never had a problem. The parking lot is well-lit all the way around the building. That's not to say it couldn't happen, but isn't that true everywhere?

As far as highway motels go, you really can't beat this. It's close to a Starbucks, a Target, lots of restaurants, it's close to the highway - and it's clean and the people are nice. It's not the Four Seasons, but I was totally comfortable there. Oh - and one more thing - even though the hotel was packed, my room was soooo quiet. I had the best sleep ever!

We are from California, so we are used to paying up the nose for hotels, but $100.00 a night in Sherman Texas is a bit steep. The hotel itself is safe and convenient. The pool is nice and the breakfast was above your average cereal and toast. Our room was nice and they had the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on, seriously! The staff went out of their way when the blowdryer did not
work, turned out that the electric outlets in the bathroom were not working. They gave us 50.00 off of our bill. I would stay again and recommend it.
