We stayed one night here, but would definitely consider staying longer on any return trip to Santa Fe. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in in a motel. Very convenient to Santa Fe attractions. Check-in was courteous and prompt. They take pets as well. I would definitely recommend this to others.

We were told that this hotel was part of another chain, It has been completely updated and an elevator added. Rooms are accessed inside. The room was up to best Hampton Inn standards. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn and there were cookies and small bottles of cold water in the afternoon. Because of the altitude you are told to stay hydrated.
The desk staff was very nice and helpful. A woman, Barbara, was new to the breakfast room but she was wonderful. She has lived in Santa Fe for a while and had wonderful suggestions for things to do, places to eat, etc. in Santa Fe. Although it is a 10 minute drive to the city square, this is a very nice place to stay in Santa Fe. We spent four nights at this hotel and were very comfortable.

Our stay was from a Saturday night through Tuesday. The room was very clean and had wonderful beds and bedding. The only problem was noise. We were near the end of a hallway and the sound seemed to resonate at our end. The constant slamming of doors and the sound of conversations just outside our room made me feel like I was staying in a dorm. Also, there was either a child or a cat in heat that was staying above us or just outside of our window. The howling/crying was constant from about 7am-9am on Sunday morning. If you can get past the noise factor then this would be a wonderful and comfortable place to stay.

Nice place. Appears to be an older Hampton Inn, but in good shape. Stayed there four nights. Had a little trouble with the toilet in the room. The staff took care of it. Coffee in the breakfast area was great. Staff members were friendly and courteous. Would stay there again. The property is located on Cerrillos Road. It's a busy street so you might want a room in the back. However, the street noise wasn't too bad.

The Hampton Inn in Santa Fe is a basic, 81 room two-story hotel. At this time, there is no elevator to the second floor; however, the hotel is in the process of adding one. Renovations are also being made to the pool, spa, and exercise area, so these amenities are out of order at this time. Because of remodeling being done in the front, traffic had to enter and exit from one side. As was previously stated in another review, the side entrances, hallways, and stairwells are used a lot and could probably use some steam cleaning.
We stayed in Room #247 which had a view of a trailer court. However, the hotel is located on a main though fare with a mall and many restaurants near by. The hotel is the same as any Hampton Inn with regard to complimentary hi-speed internet, free breakfast (fruit, bagels, yogurt, dry cereal, etc), Hampton beds, etc. The breakfast would probably be in the deluxe continental breakfast category – it is good for having something to eat but if you would rather have a “real” breakfast, you may wish to go to a nearby restaurant.
When I travel, I usually stay at a Hampton Inn hotel due to the quality for the price. The décor is nice, as the pictures on the wall are warm and natural.
The only minus I feel is that with regard to our room – it appeared to be located near “smoking” rooms. At the end of the hall, Rooms #250, #251, #252, and #253 did not have “No Smoking” signs on the door. When you enter the hotel from the back stairwell, you immediately smell the smoking smell in the stairs and hallway. For those of us that are hyper-sensitive to cigarette smoke, it may be difficult to take.
Also, I asked for two adjoining rooms on the first floor and was booked on the second floor. Staff did not follow through in my original request.
I feel that the price was in line with other hotels in the area and nationally with other Hampton Inn hotels. I would recommend the hotel for basic needs.
