We recently returned from a trip to Plymouth, and stayed at the Hampton Inn. The rooms at the hotel are very nice and the reception staff were very good and friendly. The breakfast that is included in the price was good when it was stocked up, although most of the 3 days we went down for breakfast we had to wait for breakfast items to come and then there was a long queue waiting for the food items. The all day tea/coffee that was included was cold when we went in the late afternoon or evening, and there was no cookies as stated in their brochure.
The hotel is in a good location very near all the restaurants and the shopping mall. They also have a shuttle on Fri-Sun that goes to all the tourist attraction and for $5 you can go on the shuttle all day.
I would stay at this hotel again, and would hope that they address the minor problems that I mentioned above.

This was a hs graduation trip for my daugher and we couldn't have found a greater hotel to stay in than the Hampton Inn.
We had to leave the premises after 3 days of staying at the Plymouth Hampton Inn because our daughter is visiting a friend. I'll tell you, the other place (which also is a Hampton Inn)is no comparison to the Hampton Inn at Plymouth. We would rather drive the distance and spend the gas money than stay at the other place. Lucky for us, they had the vacancies to accomodate us or else we wouldn't even know what we would have done. The service was great. They are extremely accomodating. The people are friendly. The breakfast was fresh and the rooms are clean. The best part is that it is extremely quiet. We really felt "at home away from home". The best part are the restaurants. They are a stones throw away and the strip mall is convenient, too. We will definitely be heading back to this hotel sometime soon. Probably for the winter holidays. Keep up the great work!!! Thank you for a great stay.

My family stayed in two rooms at the Plymouth, MA Hampton Inn and Suites over Easter weekend. The 2 queen room was a little better maintained with a couple of minor items that were missing from our larger room. The king suite, however, allowed our family to visit and even watch a movie together comfortably. The couch and coffee table were good additions in the spacious suite. The Inn is located about 10 minutes from the historic downtown area but since it was off season, we had no problems finding parking when we went to town. There are numerous restaurants/fast food next door. They are all national chains: Bertucci's, Chili's, Taco Bell and Red Robin. We opted to eat at locally owned businesses downtown and were not disappointed. A huge plus for us when vacationing is the breakfast that Hampton Inn and Suites provides. While it is not a gourmet spread, the cereal, pastries and a couple of hot entrees are more than adequate to start your day. If we return to the area, I would definitely stay here again.

This was our first visit to the east coast and we wanted to stay in a central area. We chose the Hampton Inn in Plymouth so we could take day trips to Boston, Nantucket and the Cape. When we arrived the desk clerk was very nice and when she found out it was our 25th anniversary suggested a very nice resturant and even made reservations for us. We stayed 5 nights and never had one complaint. The staff was always ready to help us with directions to get where we wanted to go or suggestion for things to see and do. This will be our first choice when we go back.

The Hampton Inn at Plymouth was just okay. My fiance and I arrived a few hours before we had to be at a wedding. They did not have our room ready, and it was already 3:30. They told us that we had reserved a disabled room and it was not ready. We asked them to put us in any non-smoking room. They didn't have any available and we ended up paying for a smoking room on the ground floor next to the lobby.
Most of the time we stay in Hampton Inns and are usually very satisfied. A warm breakfast is included and usually they have warm chocolate chip cookies. This particular Hampton Inn did not have cookies, and the breakfast was cold cereal. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was very noisy in the room.
While this Hampton was new and clean, the service was terrible. I would not recommend staying here for the price. There are other options close by and the price is more reasonable.
